Here in Canada the 4070 ti Super is $1100, while the 7900 GRE is $749. Shows how much Nvidia cares about gaming these days. You could buy the 7900 GRE and the Ryzen 7600 CPU and still have $80 left over.

just got a 7900 GRE today. it's in the mail tho... but yeah atm on newegg, it was the obvious choice. anything in that price point for nvidia isn't near as good and/or it doesn't have enough vram. i fill 8gb on my RX5700 and 12gb would just be good for a little while. i figure 16gb vram is good for quite a few years. thoguht i'd get a 7800xt tho at 649, but for a little 70 dollar premium i went for a little higher with the Gigabyte 7900 GRE. only gonna get so much out of it with a r5 3600 but it'll do. R9 7900 is a nice looking CPU tho, it ticks a lot of boxes. tho i might end up with a 8000 series by that time.

What are your salaries in Canada? I think you have so much money that you can buy any of these video cards, and the difference of 300-400 dollars does not matter, you do not need to save this money for several months and you will not become poor after that. So what is this conversation all about? I never understood this Western chatter of yours about the price difference. I watched a video where a guy from the USA advised choosing motherboards where the difference was 50 dollars, 20 dollars, 10 dollars... Can you explain why in your society you talk about such insignificant things? Just to chat about nothing?

And for me, $400 is a big difference in price. But for people in the USA and Canada, where they receive $3000-5000 every month, this price difference matters much less, doesn't it?

@@allex_lyric cost of living is high in the states. you'll have a salary of $3000 and have a cost of living of around $1500-2000, including rent, electricity, food and water. if you have $1000 left to spend, a 400 usd difference in cost will be a big factor.

I've been wanting to see benchmarks for the Gigabyte 7900 GRE. It's the only model aside from the Sapphire Pulse with two HDMI slots. Who do GPUs suddenly need 3 DisplayPorts? Makes no sense. Thanks for all the work you put into these videos!

In my country I am able to get a 7900GRE + Ryzen 7600 + decent air cooler for the price of the cheapest 4070 ti super. I think this is a no brainer if you are considering only gaming. Also If possible could you make a video on 7900 GRE like a power efficient version limiting power consumption to 200-230 W and compare it to stock and oc settings for performance comparison. Great video as always, Keep up the good work looking forward to future videos👍🏻

@@JegsTV Quick reminder that you should check the Overclock & Undervolt guide of the Rx 7900 GRE video from Ancient Gameplays. It should be some endpoints that is stable for your card to run on which avoid random crash when overclocking. The performance should be still the same and much more stable with the safe OC endpoints

Im a bit confused as i got way higher avg fps in cs2 at 1440p with an 5800x3d and 7900 GRE. Same settings. Why is that? Is the 7600 not supoosed to be faster?

The 5800x3d if the game uses the 3D-V cache can be much faster. In average the 5800x3d is in pair with the 7700x. I use the 5800x3d -30 offset on all cores and every core stable 4450 mhz. My GPU is an RTX 4080 and the 5800x3d is CPU still a beast.

@@DeadPiixxel the 7600x is in pair with the 7700x, the only difference is core count and some clock speed difference. Both can perform exactly the same if the game is not core heavy. So I would keep my statement that if we take a lots of games overall the 7700x and the 5800x3d would have similar averages.

Very tempted to upgrade from my rtx 3070. The 3070 does a decent job but it's starting to show it's age a bit. I could probably get £200 for it and the 7900 gre for £520 but I've always been Nvidia and am wondering if I should wait for the next gen of cards. This card seems like a steal.

If you just play and don’t take ray tracing technology seriously (and it still doesn’t look mandatory), then of course you can buy a video card from AMD. And it absolutely OK, i haved PC FX-6300 + R7 250X and i played Metro Exodus, Fallout 4, Skyrim, Elex on this PC without any problem, FPS > 30. If, in addition to games, you also want to train neural networks or do some other specific things, then it’s better to buy Nvidia. Yes, it seems that AMD cards can also work with neural networks, but still Nvidia is now almost a standard for working with neural networks and AI. There is an additional payment for this and for the most advanced technologies, but whether you need them - everyone decides for themselves

Check tarkov, monster hunter, witcher, bdo, diablo. On those games in 1080p gpu usage would dip to below 90% indication of a bottleneck

Сейчас Украине 4070ti super стоит около 850$ и выше ну АМД 7900gre 600-650$ разница очевидна а вот обычная 4070S cтоит уже 600-650$ и на уровне 7900gre но с лучами лучше именьше электричества
