She’s literally saying in this video that she wants to make her childrens life a living hell because of the years she’s lost of actually being a caring loving parent which come with simple responsibilities of making food cleaning the dishes for her children before she joined this cult. it's actually pretty normal and healthy for a 10 year old kid to question rules and complain about it... but apparently she much rather have kids who are like little robots and do everything they are told to without saying a word and expressing feelings. Imagine you are driving and the police stops you, you don't understand the reason why, maybe you didn't do anything wrong or maybe you runned a red light without realizing it, so you ask the agent what have you done.... and he replies "if you don't know it, you are in distortion and as a consequence you are UNDER ARREST!" Thats pretty much how she runs her house.

When you said that she does not have a bond with her children, and that there is love but not wholesome love, my first thought was ‘she doesn’t love them unconditionally - her ‘love’ is CONDITIONAL. My heart breaks for these babies and all of their babies to come. I only hope that the trauma that follows these children into adulthood, leads to an abundance of TRUE unconditional love for their own babies. This family is literally a tragedy that the world has watched unfold right in front of us. Shame on the people that have allowed her and so many others to live so abhorrently.

Funny how she says you can’t play in a sandbox and allow other people to clean it for you. Yet she had children that she completely exploits and lives off the backs of her children. Her children don’t owe her a damm thing yet she soaks in every single benefit off them and she believes they owe it to her. It’s the hypocrisy for me.

The lunch thing made me so angry and sad. How can you “not be comfortable” with your 5 year old child being provided with food by her teacher, because she had forgotten/hadn’t made her own? Aged 5, my lunch would have been crisps and chocolate plus a sweet drink, if I made it myself!

There are reasonable, rational ways to teach children literally anything; and then there are unreasonable, irrational, unhealthy ways. I don't think anyone is going to argue that kids shouldn't be taught accountability, but in parenting, how you teach something is almost always going to mean the difference between successful and unsuccessful parenting. When I was a teenager, I never found myself in a position of needing help or guidance and not knowing where to turn for it. If you want your child to come to YOU once they're old enough to start experiencing truly difficult, serious, and even dangerous situations in life, you need to cultivate trust and open honest communication. I told my dad things I wasn't even comfortable talking to my friends about. If my son isn'tcomfortable enough to do the same; I will be so fearful about who he does turn to when it really counts! It's such a delicate balance, we're not there to be our child's friend; however, we ARE there so that they don't have to face this world alone.

This is insanity!!! Those poor kids !!! My Granma & Great Aunt were like this !! It wasn't a hm., it was a military camp .... my Dad moved out young & my Grandma had more kids late in life & BOTH OF THEM became alcoholics & drug addicts !! They had absolutely no normal coping mechanism at all !! They kept everything inside & self Medicated!! It's freakin sad & so disturbing she has a podcast on parenting!! I pray for these poor kids who have extremely, unrational parents & 🙏 they can heal once they are out on there own & realize this ISN'T normal!!!

I like your analysis of what Ruby is saying (which makes no sense). You seem to have a good handle on parenting and that is fantastic that you can share it with us. My only child to grew up to be confident, independent, a kind person, and hard worker. I taught him how to do his own wash starting when he was in 6th grade and after that, he was responsible for it. He learned how to grocery shop, plan meals, look for deals because I took him with me and he saw my example. Always around his great grandparents and aunts and uncles who he could learn from as well...teaching by example. I raised him as a single mom after my divorce when he was just 16 months old. People want to adopt him (he is now 32) or be their Aunt or Uncle. ha ha. We get along great and we have good conversations and serious discussions. My four siblings and I grew up with wonderful parents and we are all so fortunate to have been raised by them. I just don't see how Ruby is benefiting her children in life experiences in her bizarre beliefs.

Josh you are not raising entitled brats. As parents thats what we should do for our children. When they are on their own they will look back and appreciate how much time and care you put into their everyday lives. There are ways to help your children learn and grow into functioning people without throwing a ton of expectations on them. The sandbox story about her son really pisses me off. Let them be kids and play in their sandbox. Any parent would just clean up the sandbox and if they didn’t want to do that, they would just simply not put one in…. Lol.

Both my parents were exactly the same with me, maybe even worse. I completely separated myself from them as soon as I could. Now I'm almost 24 and I still suffer from PTSD and anxiety and huge trust issues. These type of parents doesn't even deserve to be a parent in my opinion.

The youngest boy Russell is such a sensitive soul and is a beautiful empathetic little boy, my heart breaks because I know Ruby is breaking him and will chew him up and spit him out as he gets older instead of nurturing his sensitive little personality and showing him it’s a good thing. You can already tell from their past videos that he wants to be loved by his mum and will do anything for her but Ruby doesn’t know how to parent such an emotionally sensation child and she is going to ruin what could have turned into an empathetic sensitive adult, now he is going to be a broken down adult that doesn’t know what it is like to be loved back because Ruby can’t love, she is a robot. My son is 6 months. I will continue to love on him so he can thrive. He isn’t responsible for my feelings, I am responsible for his. I don’t expect anything from him but for him to grow up and be a happy, carefree child. Emotional abuse and neglect is real. I hope CPS finds its way into her home and removes those children.

I remember when one year my dad canceled Christmas and donated all of our presents. The reason was so stupid too that I cannot even remember why. I think something about my brother and I arguing or complaining about something. I just remember how awful it was. The fact that I can't even remember the why speaks volumes. The punishment did not fit the "crime".

Unless things have changed, this "sandbox" is like a volleyball court that Kevin wanted so he could play sports in it. The backyard reveal has a full view of the size. Hearing her talk about this and making it sound like a child's sandbox is mindblowing.

She doesn't allow her children to have their feelings. They are allowed to be annoyed about cleaning a sandbox. It's our job to okay those feelings while also explaining the importance of taking care of their things. No punishment necessary. Also get a cover for the sandbox. I cannot stand her. Her comparing it to having to feed her kids just shows how much she resents her kids. You have children, you take care of them. They are not a burden, they are a gift.

I’ve had teachers like this before and they were the worst! Never learned from them! The ones who showed real love and care for me, I remember fondly. They were the ones who made an impact on me.

Ruby has walked away from her parents, and siblings as well. Her siblings have RU-vid channels, and there is no mention of Ruby anymore. They have celebrated holidays, and Ruby is not there. It is very strange. I think she needs a mental evaluation.

I have a terrible feeling that whenever she has a bad day or is in a bad mood, she somehow manages to blame one or more of her kids and tell them that they’re responsible for how THEY made her feel, or that their “ball” hit her in the face and that’s why she’s in a bad mood. In other words, holding them responsible for HER issues, instead of taking responsibility for her own emotions and choices. I feel absolutely terrible for them. She is so condescending and cold in the way she speaks about them and seems to have no compassion for her precious children. It actually chills my blood to hear the way she talks to them. I think she probably actually resents them - she justifies taking out her anger and resentment on them by calling it “teaching” them and holding them accountable when really it sounds like her idea of “holding them accountable” is punishing them for existing and for being children. She uses words about them that indicates she sees her own children as her adversaries and that she has to outsmart them and fight them and beat them down so that her adversaries “don’t win”. Heartbreaking.

I truly hope that her children can leave her toxicity and live happy and loving lives as soon as they are able.

I knew a girl in secondary school who had a mother similar to her but even more extreme (I’m not joking.) She wouldn’t let her walk to the shop, watch PG films at the age of 14/15. As small as some of these things may seem, i remember the impact it had on her. She never had a phone so would miss out on so many social gatherings. She locked her in her room to study and would control every single thing in life. In the last year of school she became depressed and started to self harm. Her mother wouldn’t let her go to therapy because she knew her daughter would expose her. This was the most disgusting thing to me, that even when her daughter was suffering, her mother didn’t want any blame to fall back on her. It was heartbreaking seeing her unable to blossom into a beautiful young woman. Music, friends, movies, makeup etc. are all the things that let me express myself and helped create who I am today. I remember everything, she wasn’t even allowed to wear makeup to her prom. The day she is meant to feel special and beautiful, she was again let down by her mother. Not able to express herself and enjoy the things the rest of us were. She loved dance but again her mother made her quit dance and go to maths clubs on weekends which led her to be isolated. I was never able to contact her as she wasn’t allowed Wi-Fi or a phone even at 16. I watched her crumble in front of me and I’m still so angry to this day. I wish I did more but everyone brushed it off as just strict parenting and my school didn’t care because she got good grades. Last thing I remember she said after exams was that “she only got all A’s because the only thing she could do was study and she would die if she couldn’t do anything”. No social interaction, just trapped in her room.

Cleaning it everyday is extreme. I can see maybe once a month sifting junk out but maybe they need to cover the box when they are not playing in it.

Did you ever see the video that 8 passingers made where the dad was talking about wanting sex and Ruby didn't want it so the dad cleaned the kitchen and did the dishes so he could have sex. Ruby sat there with a big smile on her face. She uses her husband also. Sick

There is big difference between punishing a child and disciplining a child. Punishing does not work and doesn’t teach the child anything. Discipline teaches the child to critically think and you guide them with compassion, love, and gentleness.

My kids are 10, 11, and 13 and I still pack their lunch every day and cook dinner (sometimes they help) but I don’t feel like that’s spoiling them or setting them up for failure. I consider myself a very independent adult and my mom made my lunch for school my entire school life. My kids still have chores and responsibilities and will do just fine when they leave home. It’s okay to allow your kids to be kids.

She taught her children to do laundry before they could even reach the buttons on the washer and dryer...she had a stool in the laundry room for them to be able to reach. She only does her own and Kevin's laundry. I remember the video when she was teaching eve when she was like 5 or 6. It was around the same time the lunch box think happened.

When you said, "Would you take a class on joy from this one???" I literally laughed out loud in the store and everyone started staring at me. It just hit me different, the face you made and everything just hit right. And no, no I would not take that class.

Before the E didn't pack a lunch incident accoured Ruby filmed herself frequently running late to school drop off and she would be in her PJs and bathrobe hair not done no make up so an adult is allowed to not be ready she's allowed to not dress herself for school drop off and that's fine once in her robe their was a mild speeding or fender bender and a police officer arrived Ruby had to get out of her car inspect damage talk to office all in her robe I think she still had slippers on like where was the responsibility where was her accountability has an adult with 6 kids and I belive a dog and the kids had some pets I think a hedgehog an adult with a home why not get yourself dressed you can't hid behind time issues or depression becouse you don't allow others this grace. I watched this when the video it was new but I was shy then and I have felt a little bit more chatting online. And this was just one bathrobe incident she literally walked E to nursery school at a private home in the neighborhood in a robe and then dropped off I think J to a harp lesson in a robe too and she always late she was always on her kids for tardiness but Ruby gets a pass because she's a grown up. And at some point around the time Sheri I think was in her last year of middle school and she started to prepare breakfast for the kids regularly even mostly cooking dinners too Ruby just at some point took a real back seat to everything but claimed to do everything her kids mostly by 9 were doing their own loundry and keeping up their bathrooms too. So like what did you do Ruby sometimes you took your kids to other activities but when the pressure was own or commit become too much for Ruby she took it out on the kids so her kids would almost always have to quite things whitch is so horrible E and J loved chorus and the local kids play theater a place for them to be themselves. R like wrestling we hears about it for maybe half a school year and poor R I believed had to give that up becous I think he began to ruf house but he's a boy finally getting a bit of stegth feeling a bit of that boyhood high. Boys do play rough at times just has the sun raises and sets not I don't think you should break a sibling arm or anything and R loved singing at the barn program where he could sing and do theater Ruby said when she was pregnant she hoped R from seeing I think National Gruadsmen in a truck that R would be a solider and protector of others and when R was interested in art and music it was like she got mad at him then he tried sports like wrestling and judo Ruby was the one who though judo was great R and E had never heard of it till Ruby took them to the dojo then R and E started to play rough with each other so Judo was taken and then she worries R won't be a solider like what do you want Soliders do more then fight and end lives some are peace nogatuators, diplomats, lawyers and other occupations. Also R has provid inspire of Ruby and Jodi he is a solider he made up his mind to endure seek escape seek help and aid to rescue those he had to temporarily leave behind he brought to calvary to the aid of his siblings who brought help and law to their aid that is the core essence of a solider to look out for his brothers and sister in both arms and civilians in need to give aid and comfort to the effect and bring the evils like Ruby and Jodi to justice yes at rime this mean loss of life but in this case capture and law.
