That's just the basics of acting... also Ruby's voice is pretty close to how she actually talks anyway. I think the character is way more energetic than she is in real life, that's the impressive part to me is keeping up the energetic personality when you're really way more level.

i like the voice she uses when doing her Vtubing. it makes her sound like a more adult Ruby. if there is a volume 10, i wouldnt mind hearing her talk with this voice.

@@RialVestro I have a character who's basically a more energetic version of myself accompanied by one who's a bit less energetic than myself. I can do both pretty easily but the less energetic one _is_ easier. Also, I've been told I also do a good Ben Stein. Personally I think I can do his monotone a lot easier than his actual voice myself though. Mostly because his pitch is deeper than my natural high tenor voice can maintain without practice. I _can_ do a fake AF sounding bass singing voice for slow songs like White Christmas or Silent Night though but it's easy enough to go to the other extreme without practice. On a side note, I also once had a character with a 1920s radio announcer voice and kept stumbling over my words because I had to talk fast while maintaining the accent lol. (As a hobbyist, I don't usually do multiple takes unless I accidentally make bloopers)

Follow-up question, if Ruby entered Hogwarts as a student, what House would she be in? I also ask this for the rest of Team RWBY and also, Jean, Nora, and Ren

@@erichfiedler1481 Part of me thinks that Ruby would be a Gryffindor. She's headstrong, loyal and often goes straight into the danger in order to save her friends even if it means risking her own life.
