If there was a second shooter, to make sure the job was done, it still was coordinated by Russia as get back for the insult of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Oswald trained in Russia and just before the day of the assassination Oswald visited the Russian consulate in Mexico to get his game plan. I believe Ruby was a Russian agent in the US whose job was to take out Oswald so he could not divulge the truth of Russian involvement.

Here’s a fun fact about this movie at 30:03 it’s news reel footage outside Parkland Hospital from that day. At that particular time you see what looks like a black guy, a kid, a guy with glasses and tie, what looks like a slightly older kid, and a teenager wearing a dark jacket with his arms crossed looking over. The teenager if you look closely you can see it, went on to become the singer Meatloaf.

Johnny, the store owner had telephoned the police while Oswald was looking into his store's bay window, but not at the merchandise. He suspected Oswald was the man reported to have shot the officer nearby and was trying not to be seen by police cars rushing by.

Ruby served in the Army Air Force during WW 2. They hardly ever show pictures of him in uniform. Wouldn't fit their narrative that he was a buffoon. I believe he was a patriot, as was Oswald. They were both intelligence assets on some level. I doubt either had deep personal feelings one way or another about JFK. If their bosses determined it was best for the country to get rid of JFK, then so be it. They followed orders. That doesn't mean that they shot anyone (I'm leaning towards Ruby not actually shooting Oswald, probably a blank), but would play other roles as necessary, probably having to do with deception.

@LanceisLawson Ruby acted to avenge himself and the nation. The idea of shooting Oswald to "silence" him is ridiculous on its face. Oswald had already been in custody for 87 hours during which time he was able to talk freely. No "silencer" would wait that long. For your theory to have even the ghost of chance of credibility, someone would then have to silence Ruby. the silencer, not after 3 years, but immediately. But that did not happen. Thus, your wonderfully inspired conspiracy speculations have been exposed as nothing but a series of brain farts.
