The Loowit Trail is roughly 50K in length and perhaps lesser known than the popular Timberline Trail around Mt. Hood. This trail circumnavigates the *still active volcano, Mt. St. Helens in Washington State.
What makes this trail unique is the sheer amount of varied terrain - sand, lava fields, trees, and everything in between!
