When Wilson was on the Seahawks, the Niners only won 1/5 games in his last 5 games with the Seahawks. After he left the Seahawks, the 49ers won 5/5 games vs the Seahawks. Wilson is a good qb. I suspect the problem was with Denver, not Wilson.

And let’s be honest that performance against the Niners isn’t a reflection that actually accurately makes the case it alludes to. We can’t pretend those Niners teams were the same teams to be an actual comparison. The loss was the Super Bowl team followed by two wins against the dropped off a cliff with Jimmy H hurt again that was 6-10. The team the next year are solid from a weak record team that got hot and was close to a Super Bowl with a 7-2 finish settle was one of the Ls. But we can’t pretend those teams were as good as the Niners of the past couple years. That doesn’t mean Russ isn’t good either but we also can’t pretend that comparison of performance to entirely different teams with wide gaps of talent reflects that’s it’s all a Russ thing.

As a Broncos fan, I want the Steelers to do better than the Broncos straight up. I hope that they win the Super Bowl. It's CRAZY that the Steelers just picked up a perfectly healthy 35 year old 9-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champ, who has 26 TD's to 8 INT's last year and a solid 98 passer rating, for just 1.2 million dollars! Whose biggest negative is a corny personality. Who cares?!?! Russ is still a very solid starting QB. The Steelers were a 10-win playoff team last year with 3 low-level backups as their QB's! Now, Pittsburgh has a bunch of money to spend on non QB upgrades. EXCELLENT move by Pittsburgh. They're contenders now.

I'm a bronco fan. I hope it works out for Russ.. he really is a good guy. However, I watched every game of his these last 2 years. He can't anticipate throws, or check down receivers very well. He pulled out quite a few games in the 4th quarter because he HAD to, and he's good at backyard football. But for 3 quarters he pretty much could not get anything done. That's not a sustainable way to win most games. Seattle saw it, and to Denver's chagrin they finally saw it as well.

The same reason it was bad for the Seahawks at the end and bad for the Broncos. If Russ doesn’t change his attitude and comes into Pittsburgh demanding a private office and four parking spots; and when teammates ask for his number he gives them the number for his damn management firm! All that combined with not being able to move like he used to in and out of the pocket, would be a huge mess.

Sean Peyton had 0 respect and he wont get respect either from majority of fans. You don't tell a guy you don't want him from the start and expect him to play. you don't tell the guy behind the scenes to change his contract and expect him to play. You don't disrespect a man because he didn't negotiate and try to put pressure on him to quit. Sean P. is the reason why Broncos is about to suffer.

Ive always liked russ, said he should come to pittsburgh 2 years ago before the broncos... not sure how it will go, but he cant be much worse than the past 4 years

The past 4 years? He had his best season in 2020. 40 touchdowns 13 interceptions and led the team to a 12-4 record lol

Im saying the past 4 years for the steelers...😂😂 i live in pittsburgh, but not a steeler fan. I go to at least 1 game a year and always wear the other teams jersey... with that being said. I bought tickets in 2021 to see the seahawks vs steelers. And russ hurt his finger on aaron donald the game before, and gino has been the starter EVER SINCE😂😂 but yeah what i ment was that russ cant do much worse than big ben did or kenny or mason or mitch😂😂

He will fail with Steelers not because of the other QBs, but because of the other teams defenses. Steelers take last in the division (barring a major injury)

Its a damn good deal tbh id rather have someone that knows how to get to the promise land and has been there twice than a never was kind of qb on top of that now they have enough money to stack the O line, and defense and if we can get higgins its gonna be a tough year for all the teams we play 😂

coaches cannot win without a qb.....steelers gm and draft team need to all be terminated for failure to replace ben rothlisberger for the past few seasons of his retirement now...they should of been prepping his final three seasons their to be honest....look how the packers have been doing at the qb position...wasnt qb play the reason why they lost neither
