Karpov Antopp only time will tell...he's definitely off to the right track. Breaking rookie/2nd year records, winning a Super Bowl. Currently, in my mind, the top five QBs of all time are Montana, Brady, Unitas, Elway and Manning. Of course guys like Brett Favre, Bart Starr, Steve Young, Drew Brees, and many others will be in the conversation as well. That's as much as you can hope for. There is no Michael Jordan of NFL quarterbacks. All you can hope for is to be in the conversation.
Well I was kinda indifferent to him because of the whole Seahawks vs. 49ers thing and because I'm a Kaepernick fan but the more I see him and hear him speak, the more he pulls me in.
The 49er's have a great team...if they would have had home field advantage during the playoffs the Super Bowl may have had a different NFC team in it and more than likely a similar result. The difference that I see between Russell and Colin is leadership and maturity (not as a person, but as a pro quarterback, which he is a great one). Last year when the 49er's were in the Super Bowl, Russell decided to go to it and even participated on some of the NFL shows. This year, Colin says he still hasn't even watched the game. But I'm not super dialed into how he is as a player, that's just my view from up here. He has a cannon of an arm and tremendous speed, if he can just get that mental toughness and progress through his reads instead of locking into one receiver, I think that's when his game elevates to a scary level.
I do admit Kaepernick can seem a little stubborn at times and set in his ways, while Russell seems to take things head on. But I think overall it's two great quarterbacks with very different outlooks when it comes how they play except they both want to win.
ShonColle25 You do realize that the hatred you speak about between the Seahawks and the 49r fans is manifested by the media into the fans themselves, don't you? We should all stand together and see that when one team cannot make it from the West Coast (or whatever team from whatever coast) that we are all capable of standing tall in support of one and other. Did you hear what Colin Kaepernick said to Russell Wilson after the game when Seattle beat the Niners.. He said, "Congratulations! Go win one for me!" A couple of class acts! I am proud for both teams! Please fans, don't let the media win us over. Let us be true to ourselves for this beloved game of football! True like our hero's!

this is Russell Wilson's best interview....HE NEVER LIED or made up a story ....cuz when he was in college...all he ever ask publicly was for someone to give him a chance.....and when he got drafted- the announcer was even saying that if they give russell a chance to compete ,that he will win the starting job....and he did-and took us further,gave seattle its first lombardi trophy in the 40+ years in the NFL....he will get a street name after him in seattle...
