I think you guys did a very good job for your first time. You can re do the floor in five more years if you want to. For now I think you should invest in heavy machine rubber floor mats for your garage to prevent deep scratches, more cracks or deep oil stains. The machine mats are expensive but they handle anything. You can also just use the floor matts at harbor freight, they are only 20$. I recommend some floor matts.

Always been curious on these garage floor sealants. I may get my garage floor done like this.

I have had mine down for about eighteen months, no problems, sometimes I wet mop it to get the mud etc that gets in the garage from cars

Nice, Mine today is still holding up great, the only time its chipped is when my jack wheels get stuck in the concrete cracks between the slabs besides that very satisfied with how its taken the abuse.

Sup man! When you did the floor, did grind the ground?
@LetsDriftMedia

Yea I have a video of the entire install on my channel somewhere. I rented a concrete buffer machine I think it helped the product adhere a lot better.

Appreciate your video. How's it holding up now? And how does it tolerate jack stands?
@LetsDriftMedia
@LetsDriftMedia 4 месяца назад
It’s still pretty good. Holds up with jack stands no problem doesn’t even leave a mark. Only time I damaged the flooring was dragging a 500lb smith workout machine in on its edge but besides that holding up pretty good

Do you recommend any products to fill cracks in a garage floor? I want it to be flush and primed before I apply this. I've already pressure washed. Also I got the one car garage one and it says 200 sq feet, i have a 2 car garage but that seems like plenty? am I wrong here? Thanks a bunch, this video was really informative, I will definitely not let it sun dry!

I would get an extra kit to be safe I really don’t think a 1 car kit will cover a 2 car garage. I used all 3 bags of product that was meant to cover 3.5 car garage in total But as for filling the cracks I think rustoleum has some product to do so.

Do you notice damage from jackstands and rolling jacks around?
@LetsDriftMedia
@LetsDriftMedia 2 года назад
not really. its pretty solid material now, you will get some light scratches tho after awhile of rolling the jack around but im sure you could buff the floor if needed.

Looks great. Don't bother if you live in Ohio though, the snow and salt destroys it fast.

WHATEVER AMOUNT OF BOXES IT SAYS TO USE, MULTI IT BY 2 OR 3. Iused this in my 2.5 car garage. After all the surface preparations, I double coated rustoleum primer, then the large 3 boxes per side 3 times. I had added too much glitter, so I repeated, then I had an effect like snakeskin so I had to, smooth it with a sander for my 3rd coat. 18 boxes Then 2 clearcoats, 2 boxes each side. 1st coat wasn't smooth again so I smoothed it again and again a snakeskin effect. So I took the high gloss off by sanding it smooth with the 22" floor buffer with 2 different grits, then by dewalt orbital hand sander. 8 boxes I now have a 100% smooth finish with a satin finish floor. I am simply using my 22" floor buffer and adding a floor polish. I am expecting it to go from satin to gloss in, oh 40 to 50 coats, which I am ok with. Why, simple, this stuff does get scratches, like by the laundry baskets or chairs or cardboard and plastic tubs. After 2 to 3 polishings, they are gone! I ALSO 100% agree, it is SUPER easy to clean, nothing sticks to it, paint, glues, epoxies, oils, all wipe up or dried glues/epoxy, a thin blade, chisel pops it off. I have dropped dollar tree screwdrivers out of my toolbox, 3ft high, it landed, metal first and popped out a thumbnail chip. I found all the chips, cleaned the surface, added superglue and put the pieces back in place, added thin super glue, dried, sanded the 1" circle, up to 1000 grit to match the satin finish and done. Super glue will not last years, a better option was slow curing epoxy, a spray paint, my floor is blue, mixed together, add a pinch of glitter, sounding like a cooking recipe, pour that in the cleaned hole, slightly overflow, then after cured, orbital sand smooth and level. If I was to do it again, I would choose either 1st choice Leggari product or 2nd is Stone coat. Would I ever do another epoxy floor, absolutely! I added gold, silver and a prismatic dust to mine, be VERY sparing, like a plastic coffee spoon is plenty per box. After I was done, it had depth and was like walking on water with schools of fish, that is caused by NOT mixing enough, still an awesome effect, I also spritzed a liquid, probably isopropyl alcohol, to create a moon crater effect. I did talk to Rustoleum about my added powder and the isopropyl alcohol, the response was, we never done/tried that before.

You should move into a section 8 apartment complex. Also don't comment things on the internet.

No primer. You can't put a one part under a 2 part and visa versa per Rustoleum. You'd end up even worse
