I live full-time in my RV and camp for long periods of time far from grocery stores. Storing food in a mobile home can be challenging because it's such a tiny house! Now, with Covid Quarantines, I've taken my Food Storage Hacks to a whole new level. I'll show you how you can store MASSIVE amounts of food in anything from a campervan, to a class A, C or Fifth Wheel to a tiny house or regular house on lockdown.

Prepers are not crazy. People that don't prep are crazy.

Not at all crazy to be stocking up right now, we all need to be prepared, more than ever. You are so organized and THAT is the reason that you are able to store so much in a small space. Great video!

Hi Robin, I'm hoping to have my bus conversion done by mid spring. I'm also hoping to convince my 88 year old mom to go on the road with me. I have been caretaker to her and my aunt. My 94 year old aunt, who was mostly bedridden, passed away in September. Getting out and traveling would help get our lives back on track. That's why I chose to convert a bus to make comfortable for mom. We won't give up our home, it's the family gathering home, but I plan to travel extensively throughout the country and Canada. Can't wait! You're research has made my preparation for life on the road easier. Your Amazon affiliate products are wonderful. I have my lists and to fulfill my bus purchased I wiil use you're Amazon link. Thank you, thank you!!! BTW I have had you book Be a Nomad Change Your Life for 2 years and I love it. Refer to it often.

Nothing crazy about prepping. I was taught from a young age to always have a stocked pantry. My parents grew up during the depression, as well as my husband’s parents. It has helped us a few times, such has the time my husband was injured at work and Workmans comp denied his claim. We were 4 months with no income! We did have savings to cover bills. We’re in a weird time right now, people need to be prepared.

You are a prepper. A common sense prepper, just like me. Great job!! I love Auguson foods. Newbys do need to know that long term food storage containers are good for the longest time when stored in the original sealed packages in a cool, dark, dry location. If it’s too hot or the original containers are opened the shelf life is much shorter.

I live in my 19 ft Airstream, so I’ve had to get really creative with storing extra food in case I can’t go shopping for an extended period. I don’t have a big fridge, nor do I have a big cupboard. Therefore the back of my truck has to hold all of my extra food in plastic totes. I was very frustrated as I was building my little stockpile because I couldn’t remember if I had something and also I didn’t know where I put it. So I took the time to make an inventory list on my tablet. When I use something I change the number on my tablet. A second column alerts me if I need something, so I know what to buy on my next shopping trip. Anyway, just a different idea when space is a real issue.

Ignore the name callers. Preparing for long term food storage goes back in time. Canning, storing, “preparing” for winter, bad weather(hurricanes) and such things have been given a bad name but look at the peeps recently. Good job and thanks for the tips.

Not all preppers are “doomsday preppers” as the over the top reality show portrayed. Preppers are people who are thinking ahead in case of flood, hurricane, natural disasters, job loss, health crisis, or a crashing economy, etc.

We smiled when we saw the King Arthur flours and Bob's Red Mill packages. Well played, Robin.

Thank you so much for this video! My husband and I live full time in our 26 ft travel trailer. I’ve been stocking up for months. I’m prepping shelf stable foods as well. I’ve got Augason farms, and Mountain House long term foods. I’ve saved up mostly can goods, boxed foods such as pastas, rice, beans, etc. thankfully two years ago we tore out the bunks in our camper and turned it into extra storage, so I’ve got four bins of food stashed back there. I also have the chaise part of my sofa (has storage underneath) jam packed. My pantry is only contains the foods I use on a daily basis. Us tiny living folks learn to use every inch of space for what we need 😊 Great job Robin! Better safe than sorry!

If you want organic fruits and veggies get a dehydrater. I store my dehydrater in dining table bench storage area.

Yessssss! Now you’re speaking my language! I’m a couponer and the savings has helped me so much with getting my RV and setting up to travel (finally! This winter). People thought I was crazy to get a freezer for my RV, but I knew continuing my stockpiling habits would help me manage my budget on the road.
