Figured you probably caught this in re-watches, but I thought I'd mention it for people who haven't yet: The remaining members of Team FNKI's names are Kobalt and Ivori (Neon calls them by their name in passing). Since Team FNKI's motif is memes (with Neon Katt being Nyan Cat, and Flint Coal being both a reference to Achievement Hunter's "flint coal" jokes and a possible reference to "Doot Doot Mr. Skeltal") Kobalt and Ivori are currently thought to be sharing a reference to the Black and Blue/Gold and White dress that plagued the internet like 4 years ago, though I'm not sure if that's been confirmed or not.

I discovered this channel about 3 weeks ago... and I've fallen in love with it! I love how excited Arnold gets, how he sings the intros every time, and I love hearing his theories too. I know no one else who enjoys RWBY, and in fact my partner and couple friends dislike it (they're crazy, I know). However, I love the animation, the story, the lore, the plot twists, the character development... Everything! So, to come here when I'm feeling down (mainly due to MDD and anxiety), and to see Arnold being so emotional and excitable over something we all love so much... It lengthens the experience, and adds another layer to the show. If you're reading this Arnold, I have to thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication to your channel and your fans, it makes me wonder how many others lives you've improved. You've got Ruby's spark for sure. R - "We've all lost something, and I've seen what loss can do to people. But if we gave up every time we lost, then we'd never be able to move forward." Remember that the Maiden powers only transfer IF they are the person in their final thoughts. Fria’s only notable characterization is nostalgia for home. It would be NO surprise if her final thoughts were for someone who is either ineligible for the power or just not Winter.

this episode for me confirmed every member of team rwby will be a maiden, its a little crazy but i feel like winter isnt gonna be a huge part of the story so odds are they are gonna transfer to weiss, ruby will eventually take down cinder and as butt hurt as she will be cinder's last thoughts will be of ruby, how yang and blake get the rest im not too sure but im positive it will happen.

I stopped liking this show, but I kept watching simply because of this guy's persistent love for it. And the best part is he is aware it's not exactly perfect, but it still holds a place in his heart and I can watch his reactions knowing he's not fake and actually a warm spirit who just wants to have fun. MurderOfBirds shows REAL reactions and I absolutely love him.

Hi, Arnold. You’ve said before that you read all comments on your videos. I spent the last 15 minutes writing this for my friend, but I thought I would post it on a video. I would really appreciate it if you took 2 minutes to read it to the end. Thank you. This is a ‘Summer Rose’s Last Mission Theory’. I think Summer was the Fall Maiden Before Amber, and Rooster Teeth is just programming us to think she was the Summer Maiden. I think Summer used the first question to ask about why Salem wants to eradicate silver eyed warriors. We know because of V6 that Jinn is a storyteller, and if it’s not a simple answer, you best bet she gonna be the next Tolkien. All she needed to show was Oz discovering the relic and asking the questions. Instead she showed them the history of the world, which yes he was hiding, but it’s not what he didn’t want them to know. But if she were asked why Salem wants the silver eyed warriors dead, it’s not only because they can destroy Grimm, but they can also nullify magic. That’s why Salem warns Cinder against fighting a Ruby who has harnessed her eyeball lasers. It could also revert Salem back to being normal, but now she is also powerless. She can’t end the world if the very sight of her doesn’t make people crap there and then, and so she must stop these at all costs. After Summer left, she could have realised what a threat she was to Salem. Because she’s smart, I think she realised that by going to Ozpin or going home, she would be putting her friends and family in danger. After discovering this, she flees. The Spring maiden wouldn’t have fled by then because if someone disappeared 17-18 years prior, I would say ‘almost two decades ago’ and not ‘over a decade ago’, so she could have known her in training, and if Summer was the Maiden, she could have been Spring’s mentor. Now, Salem somehow discovers that Summer knows. Not too long after, she gets a few previous faction members and Hazel to go ‘collect’ her. Summer is able to defeat the others, but Hazel is able to overpower/reason with her (“Nobody needs to die today” - The origins. Maybe it was a Summer quote that stuck with him) and she is brought to Salem. Salem holds Summer hostage to experiment (which is why she gets a scientist on her team) to try and figure out how to neutralise the silver eyed gift. However, due to this, Summer dies. Not before giving Salem the info that she recovered from Jinn, which explains why Salem knows Maidens should be cautious around the silver eyed warriors, but she does die. If she did have the Fall Maiden Powers, it would then be passed into someone random as the last person in her thoughts would either be too old, too young or a dude (Salem, Ruby, Watts/Hazel respectively), which would be why it would go to Amber, an early/mid-teenager at the time. Or she isn’t the Maiden and is still alive, still being experimented on, unable to escape. Who knows, she might even have gone insane/crazy/become an emotionless shell. How the team figures this out? Ruby asks Oz/car what happened to her mother, who responds with he doesn’t know, but she used a question, went to find the answer to the answer and never came back. Later, Ruby/co is in a pickle and yells out Jinn, who demands they ask a question otherwise it will be wasted. Possibility No. 1: Ruby: “How did my mother die?” (Either) Jinn: *shows flashback* or Jinn: “I’m sorry, but I can’t answer questions about things that are about things that are yet to come.” Possibility No. 2: Ruby: “What really happened to Summer Rose/my mother?” Jinn: *shows flashback* Possibility No. 3 Ruby: “What was the answer to the first question this era?” Jinn: *shows a different flashback* Ruby: *does a similar thing to her mother, only to have it pointed out to her* That’s my hypothesis! i have a teory now, i think winter and raven will die sometime soon, if the winter maiden powers is transferred to winter, the power will be weiss's, and raven's power will be yang's, i still think our girls will have a lot of important stuff do deal with on the next volumes

My impressions (SPOILER WARNING): -You know that scene in Stranger Things 3 where all the moms at the public pool are checking out Billy the lifeguard? I want an edit of that scene but Billy has Jaune's face. -Whoever had "return of Team FNKI" on their bingo card for this volume must be very happy. I realize that Neon's shit-talking during the fight and being all friendly-like afterwards is "a thing" for her. I find this annoying. -Penny's conversation with Ruby makes it seem she was pretty lonely after she was rebuilt. She doesn't seem to consider Ironwood or Winter as friends, only colleagues. No wonder she was extra excited to see Ruby again. I'm so happy that they're spending more time together, which was seriously lacking in V1-3. -I'm slowly but surely warming up more to the Ace-Ops. Shout-out to Clover for being a good friend for Qrow. He may not have full context for what they've been through, but it's clear that Qrow played an important role in helping the team get this far, especially his nieces. It's arguable this is the other way around now, but it's still important. -I like that there's verbal acknowledgment that Qrow no longer drinks. I remember how last episode he was the one telling people to lighten up and enjoy themselves and even giving Ruby some good advice. He had been sober for like 2 days tops at that point but his demeanor was already improving. Not exactly realistic, but I appreciate it all the same. It's almost like not being an alcoholic is a quality-of-life improvement or something. -Robyn comes across as morally questionable but not a bad guy. Not trustworthy to our heroes, but still wants to do good. I know of that clip on RT's Twitter account that got leaked for a few minutes, so I know she's gonna fight Blake and Yang. I'm kinda hoping she makes Adam look like practice (though less muder-y). -The last time someone had a plan for who gets to have a Maiden's powers once the former one dies didn't work out very well... -Jacques' speech boils down to "Vote for me to protect you from Ironwood, also to get back your jobs which I've just taken away". Dude is straight-up drinking the Salem Kool-Aid already. -Speculation: Seems like the next episode will start a little before Jacques' rally, and various members of the team are gonna be scattered amid the ensuing riots/chaos. This seems like an awfully inconvenient time for some murderous, revenge-seeking baddies to come looking for Ruby...
