Joystick or Micro Registration?? The Riley Hopkins press with Joy Stick registration is simply the most user friendly and cost affordable press on the market. It allows you to easily set up multiple color jobs without having to adjust micro registration knobs. It's the newest and most advanced thing to hit the screen printing market concerning micro registration.

I've had my riley hopkins 6/4 from ryonet for three years. It will never leave my shop. Regardless of when or how we grow, our Riley has earned its spot. I've looked at other presses that cost more and have more features and they are cool, but for us, we would go with a Riley Hopkins.

something I don't see but have been asked, others may want this info as well, how to adjust the pallet itself bringing it closer or further away from center of press and making sure it is squared with the print head. Would make a great video tutorial.

We could do that, thanks for the suggestion!

I have found that tightening down the off contact first while holding the head down in the gate, is the best way to set this. If you tighten up the angle first, then, if that angle is not perfect, it will project that into the off contact. But with off contact screws first, it forces the angle to be correct when you tighten it down P.S. The Riley presses were much lighter to spin than all the other presses at the Orlando show. Excellent press. Just my two cents. :-)

What do you regret about buying a Riley Hopkins? We'd love the feed back. If I may defend the press for a minute and say this is more than just an entry-level press, just ask Guru Ink a company that prints tens of thousands of shirts on these presses a year. These presses are incredible! Easy set-up, solid design, easy registration, and a iron clad warranty if anything goes wrong! I'd say it's the right price at the right quality.

What's the do not touch screw for and how do you fix it after it has been messed with??

Does anyone know what the bolt he said not to touch is called ? Cuz my friend played with mine and now I don’t know what’s the factory set for that bolt ☹️
@Ryonet

That's the off-contact riser. Best way to find the factory setting would be to follow this video as well. Have another platen on the arm and have it sat on another platen. Platens should be flat, and you can adjust from there.

Not sure where to find an answer to this, or if you guys still reply to older videos. But I have the 4-1 Silver Press which has the same 'do not touch' bolt you mentioned in this video. Unfortunately it was messed with and I can't seem to find any information about resetting the position correctly. Is there any place I can find information or help on this?

Help! I have a brand new Riley Hopkins 4 x 1 with Micro. Are each of the arms supposed to touch the “Do not touch bolt set at the factory”? Mine don’t. In fact, the arm part that rest just above the registration bolts sits lopsided - one side touches the nestling bar and the other doesn’t on each of the 4 arms. I’m wondering if the “Do not touch bolt was set incorrectly at the factory. Patti Warner

What press is that one?
@Ryonet

That's a press no longer in production but it's a Riley Hopkins WIN Legacy Joystick. Let us know if you have any more questions!

Is this still a tactic used?
@Ryonet
@Ryonet 4 месяца назад
It can be! This is a bit outdated as we no longer manufacture this press and your off-contact registration technique will depend on what press you're on. I hope that helps, reach out by phone if you ever need more support!

This is an all out aweful press. Its only an entery level press, for people that upgrade from a tabletop press. Do not buy Hopkins. I regret buying this piece of junk
