It’s truly sad when bad things happen to classic cars with good owners for no reason, i’m sorry about your car being stolen i know it’s difficult to get past with the fact that you had much planned for it, almost the same happened to me, but not stolen my car was caught in a crossfire between people and my car ended up being punctured with a bullet hole. It’s annoying to deal with knowing you never wanted your car to be touched and alot of other aspects of it, Life sometimes isn’t fair 🤦🏾♂️
The car holds sooo much more sentimental value than actual value so the idea that we almost lost her was devastating. we are beyond grateful to have her back with a relatively small amount of damage.
You don’t need to remove the rear bumper bolts to install the rear side markers. If you take a plastic pry tool or a flat head screw driver with some tape on it (to prevent any scratches) you simply put it on the side of the light and you can very simply pry it off. I think you can pry from either side. It literally takes seconds to do.
Great point, we certainly could have done that but we are glad we removed the screws as they were thoroughly rusted and seized. We bought new screws and spring nuts for the rear bumper.
I have the millennial anti theft device in my 07. For the people that can drive a stick, I have a lock that goes on the clutch pedal to prevent it from being pushed in.
Looking at these for my 2008 GT. I have rgb halos on there right now and usually use orange but I actually like the more modern and oem look of these, as well as the start up sequence and sequential turn signal

It would be great if you could make a review video of these LED headlights. I haven't found any facts on the internet about genuine user experiences of these lights. Glad you enjoy our content! This is a full time Autocross car that does not do any street driving. As such, we have not had to use the head lights since installation. I did turn them on in my garage once and the light pattern looked good in my uneducated opinion. The turn signals stand out well and they sweep across smoothly. No complaints but, again, no practical use to this point.
Sorry you are having that issue! Ensure you properly connected the harness and if it’s still an issue, I suggest you contact the company you bought the lights from. Hopefully they can exchange the lights for you.
Hello, I have factory HiD headlights and tried splicing a halogen connector to the hid harness and I got the lights to turn on but high beams wouldn’t work.. Did you need the adapter harness to be in the fuse box for the high beams to work as well as the DRLs? Kind of at a stand still as what to do as the HiD harness is now off but at the cost of not knowing the wiring diagram to the connector and not knowing what to splice what to…
Are you sure you have factory HID headlights? I did some googling and looks to me like the plug on the chassis side of the harness is the same for Halogen and Xenon headlights.
Im looking to swap to aftermarket headlights and im considering these vland ones or staying with the original style with halos. As a question how do these look at night as thats my biggest concern. Are the low/high beams as good as the original ones?
We can test this but it could possibly lead to a hyper-flash situation. Car is currently packed away in winter storage but will conduct some testing when we get her out for the next project.
Check out the video at 13:11. It explains what you are looking for. One end of the DRL harness plugs into the fuse box behind the passenger headlight. The other ends plug into a two-wire connector molded into the rear of each new headlight.
If only one turn signal isn’t functioning properly, try moving the non-functioning headlight to the other side and see if it fixes it. That may mean there is a problem in the headlight. If the headlight continues to not work right, there may be an issue with the harness or your installation. Double check the plugs on the harness to ensure there isn’t a bent pin inside the connector. That can happen sometimes.
I think you could wire the running lights to the fog light harness. You’ll have to turn on your fog lamps to get the running lights but it’s better than nothing. Let us know if it works!? It might be nice to have the option to turn the running lights off.

@@morrismartinracing ok, I saw on the video that it looks like they mount into the bumper. I was thinking initially they mounted onto the plastic bumper cover. Did you have to drill holes into the bumper to mount them?
the splitter rods go through the lower grill and connect to the bumper support. We should make a short video on the steps we took, it's fairly painless. The only bumper cutting we made in the front was for the tow hook.
you may have it connected to the wrong fuse, double check it and verify with the instructions/our video. We also referenced the cars user manual to verify which fuse slot we used.
We are electrically challenged as well so it’s entirely possible there is a better/simpler solution than what we did. Don’t let us deter you from trying new things! You can do it if we can do it!!
