I bought a 2004 Saab 9-5 Aero in Espresso Black Metallic, and took it to an Alpaca farm for a Flat White and a lesson in Camelids. True story! I really just wanted a nice spot to film the car, and stumbled on an Alpaca Farm. The rest, as they say, is history. No Alpacas were harmed in the making of this film, but one baseball cap was covered in Alpaca spit. Which is a good thing, because it's a really terrible hat. Sorry about that.

That's one handsome car. Great colour and always nicer looking than the Dame Edna ones. We share a couple of interests Geoff - old Saabs and the writings of Hunter S.T. I've had 7 Saabs over the years - 2 classic 900 lpt's, 2 NG 900's, 2 9000 lpt's, and a 9-5 saloon lpt. Never managed to get a full blown one... Most of the with starship mileages. One breakdown in all that time - the well known coil pack issue on the 9-5. I still yearn for another Saab at some point.... they will always remain my favourite brand of car.

I’ve just bought a saloon version of this, Espresso Black and a very late 55 reg. I also have an 05 9-3 Aero Hirsch Stage 2. Bloody love SAAB now

Wow! My best car ever,i owned a estate one like that for just over 5 years and it passed the MOT every time with some small advisorys. She...SAABINE, was a monster,once that turbo kicked in ,it whent like hell ! She died on me with just over 2oo.894 thousand miles 😢.

Hi Geoff I had a Saab 9-3 Aero convertible in the Espresso black with 235,000 on a 04 plate which is back with it's original owner from who I brought it and it's still going strong at I believe over 250,000 miles, I sold it to get my current 2007 Saab 9-5 Aero and love it, if you think a standard Aero is quick you should try my stage 3+ Noobtune 9-5 Aero, it truly gives some very expensive cars a shock at the mind boggling acceleration I'm running 320bhp with 450nm of torque, I love that Saab cars are well underestimated by most as you can get some bargains still
