The wiring and connector for the reversing light mod should be present in the loom regardless of whether or not the car had the option from the factory ,so could save some work.😎
Ooooooo I like the idea of going U.S. spec on the reversing light assist Martyn. Good little mod that, certainly one that I'd forgotten about...if, indeed, I ever really knew about it 🤔🤔🤔
Cheers Kent! Yes, I'd entirely forgotten about that mod until I looked at the lamps! Thinking about it more, an easier installation rather than mounting an additional SAAB bulb-holder would be to simply drill a small hole in the blanking plug and poke a super bright LED though instead 👍
