@@ajai073 Nigga, where was this Jay Versace on the tape with Boldy!? This might be beat of the year material, up there with Alc and Madlib stuff this year. Gat damn young man.
Bro why you bring this up, I got a tear in my eye now. DOOM was such a core influence for him, Earl, and OF in general. And when you look at how OF went to influence and inspire really the entire hip hop landscape it’s aw inspiring to remember all of this sprouted from the seed MF DOOM laid.
@@cryosphere1130 his 2nd verse is in DOOM's style. MF DOOM had a very unique way of rapping and would even self censor (hence the "how long he eat the...wait a minute"). Tyler is utilizing that style all throughout that 2nd verse. He didn't rap like that on the album at all until that part.
@@cryosphere1130 and to add to it tyler and earl sweatshirt met MF DOOM a long time ago. Its why tyler is such a good rapper. Hes taken alot of influence from doom. such as 2:23 where he stops his flow and changes the rap scheme, something DOOM was infamous for.
He even uses a couple of DOOMs classic little rhyme teasers. Like Tyler said “skateboard bunny hop, bauledaire wolfie tho, felines call him Alf for how good he eat the-“ and instead of saying “pussy for” which was the obvious direction he said “wait a minute” then switched to a new rhyme scheme. Like how DOOM does all the time to throw off the listener
Huge Doom influence in the second half, everything from the flow to how the beat drops on the last word, to how talks to himself in third person. Vry cool
its makes me mad that people say "this album doesnt sound like a tyler album", tyler doesnt have a specific sound. hes up there, hes multitalented. some fans just want to keep him inside of a box of a specific sound.

The end of the album. God it was a beautiful one. Sadly, we will never get that feeling of listening to this for the first time again, but that's alright. The fact that we even got to experience this is incredible. Unbelievable that one man can have this many styles and different sounds and genres in one album, but who else but Tyler? If this doesn't win a Grammy, I will riot.
This song in itself is a mix of past tyler. However, I not only immediately got flower boy vibes in the beginning when it drops i definitely got cherry bomb vibes- in other words- a perfect mix.
This made my night. This album has really inspired me to actually do what I want to do and express myself. Thank you and I hope you keep making music for a long while.
Tyler is such a icon to me, this album made me feel so proud of him and where he's got to, just like a older brother. His music since 2018 has been so present in my life, his albums been the soundtrack to my best & worst memories. Seeing a black man doing waves with his art and inspiring other people all over the world is so fucking inspiring... I fucking love you, man.
Not a competition at all .. but imagine seeing his growth since 2011. It's been insane seeing this man evolve over 10 years. He's done a lot for all of us, and shines a light for most of us when things get dim. I aspire to have the confidence in myself and the drive to reach goals like him and shatter expectations. Show you nobody is truly stagnant and everyone is evolving and changing all the time. Fluid like water. Love.
if you made it to the end of the album, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! If you didn't... who am I kidding, of course you did! Have a wonderful life and keep blessing your ears with this beautiful masterpiece!!
@@freddywilson6784 tf is wrong with you. THAT you have an issue with and not the tons of other words to have an issue with. Just enjoy the music. Like damn
I'm a 7 month old developing fetus that's usually focused on absorbing nutrients from amniotic fluid. Not Phoebe's typical demographic, but wow, this makes me want to be born.
Thank you so much Tyler, this feels like a overview of his career the beat is so fucking great it’s fits perfectly as it’s a celebration of everything he’s achieved so far and he’s only just hit 30, 7 albums 7 innovative sounds 1 Tyler the creator wolf Haley
BROO IKK I JUS GOT DONE LISTENING TO DOJAS ALBUM AND ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS WE ARE BEING SPOILED W THESE ALBUMS😫😩. (but tbh i like tylers album better🙇.)
When he said “the only place we haven’t traveled was time” I knew it was going to bring some old songs or freestyles in here. When Tyler said wolf I got the chills 😭
When he said wolf at the end I was hoping he was gonna say halie afterwards just as a little bit fun for the old Tyler fans, but none the less I absolutely loved this album
The production sounds like it uses all of the sample from the full album condensed into one so, the combined with the dissonance of SIR BAUDELAIRE makes this the perfect closing song
