something is so specifically recognizable about the sam and max style of humor and i love it. i think it's the casual nature the way a lot of the jokes are delivered
@@robbiewalker2831 its more of but jokes and obnoxious things. The powerpuff girl reboot is a disaster and the teen titan go is a direct insult to my face.
@@Ukrainian-supporter As someone who was alive when this show was on the air, there was an even greater culture of parental outrage in the past. The kinda stuff thats finally allowed on the air now amazes and relieves me.
And knowing how Steve handles Sam&Max it would actually work. It needs to be made for more mature audiences this time around. With that censorship cartoons have nowadays it would do the show a favor.
That's nothin'; the sadly recently late fella playing Sam's the same one that voiced Bowser in those DIC Mario toons in the 80's. Heck, the Geek's played by the actress that played Peach (or Toadstool as she was called back then), too!
3:46 Sam (Sam & Max): (Anime dub voice) This foe is a crafty one, I tell you. Max (Sam & Max): (Anime dub voice) Yes, spend it off our clumsy advances. How I hate that! Sam (Sam & Max): (Anime dub voice) Clearly the element of surprise is needed this day.
I love how chaotic this show is. Not just the subject matter but also it’s inception. Not to mention how it’s was braking gender norms for shits and giggles
I'm learning how to draw with a keen interest in drawing cartoons, and I just have to say that Max is such a fantastically designed character. About as simple as it can get without losing any of his personality, and instantly recognizable.
I haven't seen such absurdist chaos since the Earthworm Jim cartoon and that the secret of destroying universe involve showing the image of a tuning fork to alien elephants, which all characters involved professed made perfect sense.
I know that when it comes the voices of Sam and Max to me this is my favorite versions of the duo but that could also be helped because of how good and funny the writing is
