Depends how long the flight is. Having mine sit next to me on a _bed_ for 15 mins is hard enough lol Can’t imagine he’d be a fan of a 6 hour plane ride. And they really heat you up if they’re sitting on you.

Those girls love dogs and aren't afraid to show their joy to be near the dog during flight. I observed a majority of passengers not happy. God forbid people express their joyful feelings.

As an Aussie it absolutely astounds me that dogs travel on the plane with passengers over there 😳!! Here they HAVE to be transported in proper cages etc and loaded into cargo bays of selected animal transport planes !!

If I or other people who don’t care about dogs (and I own 2) were seated there, I wouldn’t allow the dog to sit there. There definitely isn’t enough room regardless what you think.

Maybe, to be fair though, they thought it was a service dog (even though it wasn't wearing a vest) so they were diligently ignoring it.

Some people are scrared or allergic to dogs🤷‍♀️ and some just don’t like dogs or at least not on a plane and its understandable when its a Long flight and theres a dog barking or blocking the hallway .. you know its an exception that this dog got to be on Board! Only tiny dogs are allowed with passagiers - the big ones normally are in the Animal space in Cages in the underground of the plane

I would not get excited, but would rather have the dog next to me then a kid. Then again I got dogs who love to use my feet as there pillows under my desk so lack of foot room wouldn't be anything new.... I would be likely to be petting the dog while in flight so ya. I can see why she would want the dog in her row.

If you have bad allergies you might not hate him but you'd steer clear. I had to leave a party once because my cousin simply brought her dog (that looked similar to this one but black) from her backyard to put him in the play room and I got sooo sick. I couldn't breath it was so bad.

Planes actually have a very decent amount of space under each seat that this beautiful doggo would hardly fill. Those spaces are made for dogs. I even remember someone fitting a mastiff under their seat. It's a lot more humane than where they would be placed.

I would love a giant blanket under my feet.

@Becca I use to be a ramp agent for West jet in Canada and a handful of airlines in Canada don't let you bring your dog as a Carry on. And if you're flying internationally then coordinating with the airline may be even trickier. Nonetheless I agree. It's better when an animal that is traveling is within the care of the owner and not stuffed under the plane.

I can get nost babies to laugh and not cry on planes. Dogs are ok. ..at a distance But can be SUPER annoying up close. I MUCH prefer being around other humans.. I am obviously the exception to the rule.

I was at an airport once waiting for a flight. Someone had a dog, another person stopped to meet the dog and while the two of them were all excited to meet each other (man and dog), a group had stopped to watch them. A big crowd of happy.

He sits on the ground in front of her and under the seat of the chair in front of her. Usually you are lucky if your plane isn't full and you have an extra seat or 2 in your row but lucky for her, she has those two lovely ladies who are so excited to share their space with the puppy 😊.

But peoples pet dogs shouldnt travel by plane in my opinion. Im not an expert i just think the pressure, noises, and tight spaces cant be nice at all. And most people dont understand dog body language enough to understand how theyre feeling.

You can tell the dog is well trained because it actually listens when its owner says to leave it. I bet most of the passengers were thinking "oh great, another SeRvIcE aNiMaL that is going to be barking the whole flight"
