Seriously, I'm a C5/C6 fan at heart but always had a truck. Not knocking the obs but thr nbs is one of the best trucks made. Looks wise. Plenty of pulls from C6Z06 hci as well as all kinds of boosted Vettes. Check out Autopia. Dude features 1kwhp plus rides. Lots of classics too. Lizzy shows his 1200whp awd GTR ! Last one lol. Search for twin turbo C6 corvette on street. Dude goes sideways making a pull. My heart literally stopped when I first watched it.
😂 This man just did a rolling burnout from 20mph to 75mph(with 100mph tire speed) before the truck even thought about hooking up...im jealous 😂😂 i live in California so i can only dream😢
I see despite being far newer the F1 is no mouse. I hate to say it but after 7 years of ownership my 1988 Cougar with a The-First-Model-They-Ever-Made Procharger P600B, with a receipt for purchase from a speed shop in Taunton MA in 1994 the year they came out, if I'm not mistaken....I get sick of the gear howl from the blower sometimes cruising around for more than an hour. They are LOUD. Especially with a pulley that a local machine shop specifically made for you because ATI won't sell one that runs the blower to it's rated mechanical RPM limit 😂 But no, I can't part with it. It all works so well. Tuned the ECM myself, factory Ford 5.0 Mustang computer with Moates QH piggyback...rebuilt 2/3 of the AOD automatic...also a first for me. And there's nothing like open exhaust cutouts with 13 psi of boost. But I do keep my noise cancelling headphones with me just in case 😂
12.5 afr wot? Seems lean and kinda sounds like it’s breaking up a bit. Maybe I’m too conservative. I’ve tuned 3 turbo Silverado’s so far and always try and keep the afrs between 11.2 and 11.7.
Hey Dillard, just wanted to ask if it would be alright if I featured some clips from your video in a project I’m working on with ProCharger?! Wanted to make sure it was alright before using any media, thanks!
You think with more tuning you could hit higher numbers at those boost levels i know at 15-16lbs with a tubo set up on a stock bottom end 6.0 they were hitting over a 1000hp on the engine dyno im just curious cause i was looking at doing a forged piston and rod set up with a cam on my lq4 and bolting on a blower for my truck and i wanted to be at that 800-900whp range
I am hoping my truck is this nutty in a month or so. My builder is punching my lq9 to a 6.2, using ported/polished ls3 heads with a 3 angle valve job, he's going to spec the cam to whatever we go with. I am hoping this is what I get...or similar. hoping the 4 link/watts link with dual adjsutable viking shocks will help her hook. I have 4.11s with a duragrip lsd and yukon gear axles....super stoked right now.
I like procharger bc you can still run headers and exhaust and a slightly more aggressive cam with a large split in durations to carry the power up into the higher rpms and the more rpms means the blower is spinning faster which in turn creates mo POWA. And then you can play with pulley manipulation and I prefer to run it on ,e85 paired with a snow meth injection kit that can run essentially the same was as a nitrous progressive system so the as your rpms build so does boost and each incremental increases in boost it adds more methanol. Is run promaxx 260 heads with 59 cc combustion chambers then possibly add comp ultra pro mag ls3 1.8 rockers and a 1207x valve springs kit then for an intake I like the CID 4500 ls3 intake bc with the 11 degree heads and the cid is a proven front runner for ideal flo through a snow performance 4500 flange meth injection plate system and that blower crama the air down the single plane where it mixes In a perfect direction from the single plane and has ideal flow direction bc of the 11 degree valve angles. Also the e85 + meth adds an easy 100 whp and also lowers IAT's and increases your octane that is the way you pair the right parts together and they all work harmoniously to achieve optimal performance
