@@netman88 oh wow that’s disappointing. Though we are quite happy with the fridge overall Im very surprised that a light 💡 does not come on when dispensing water/cubed ice/crushed ice. The blueish light doesn’t do justice in the dark.

Since it's new, I would call samsung to fix it under warranty.

If you are talking about the that black cable on the left, that is actually an antenna for setting up the smart fridge so you can control the temperature of the fridge or troubleshoot issues with the fridge. Bixby app interfaces to the smart phone app to use. Not sure on the tube that you are referring to.

Thanks for the info. I have the same issue on that part also. I'm also consumer. It's a bad glass design.

I broke the tabs off if mine. Now it’s easy to pull out by myself. It’s a tab in both corners. Be careful not to break the glass. I was so frustrated I didn’t care about putting them back on. They are impossible to deal with. I have kids and a messy husband and have to clean mine all the time.

This French door model still works well for us. No issues thus far.

Probably need to call Samsung and file a complaint with them. The older model Samsung were not good but they came a long way. Not sure which model you have but I didn't hear that many bad stories on this model. I have this model for a number of years and it's been great thus far. What temperature are you setting up the fridge?

We have had to transfer all stuff from this Samsung and put into xtra frigerator we have in garage which is probably 10 years or more older than this French Door Samsung and it keeps stuff colder than this Samsung refrigerator that is less than 2years old. Bought brand new at Home Depot. The freezer is good, the pull out drawer is good but upper part is not keeping cold. Frig is set at 37. My husband thinks it is fan?? I don't have any problems with my fridge but it's up to you. I just do videos to help others. People only post about problems and other people usually don't post.

netman88 I ordered the same one the dual ice maker. I think since it’s newer it should have better reliability. Thanks!

@@GabeAnderso nope. Used to have a microwave way back though.

@@GabeAnderso The older models had ice maker issues where it use to freeze up. It's a common issue with a number of fridge makers also though. It was this one or LG in our case.

Please check Home Depot or Lowes.
