Oh man we’re getting closer and closer to the end of the season. I can believe how invested I am in these two siblings’ rivalry. I can’t wait to see kirito’s reaction to figuring out who Leafa is
*Probably goes something along the lines of this:* *"Wait you're S- Bwauh?!- But you can't b- I ha- **_FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDGE!"_*
The question I have wondered for a long time is if it is due to nature or nurture? Like was Kayaba such a massive dunderhead to program a psychotic therapist AI or did she just spend all her time watching Kirito and Asuna and decide to emulate their behaviour?
It’s a true testament to the talent of SWE that people in the live chat are quoting episode one as much as they quote the later episodes. True consistent quality. Great job y’all!
Literally anytime there is a minor disagreement in my friends group we literally all go on sinc: 'Well fucking you too think your to good to join my guild, think your all cool cus you know how to kill a boar.'
I am still waiting for the part where they reveal that the only reason Asuna can’t log out of Alfheim is because she doesn’t know she has to use the other hand to bring up the menu.
Oh heck. I completely forgot about the fact that Asuna could not bring up the menu and combine that with the switch... Sugou is soooo dead. Speaking of I wonder how Something Witty Entertainment is going to do a certain tasteless scene if you catch my drift. Hopefully they just skip it.
@@edwinvanooijen7749 meh, I would settle for just showing the look on Kirito's face with whatever Sugou is doing being more implied than explicit. That, and I want to see Kayaba, now a digital ghost, give Kirito a pep talk, they better not skip that.
Can't wait for it to get out of Copyright jail so we can all enjoy this. Coming up on the end of the season now, crazy to think about how long this journey has been.
@@Bartre_God TBH the legal precedent is quite clear frankly I think they should just wait for the next Takedown and than file a full on counter lawsuit they have first amendment and parody protections under fair use and if the file it right they can even press criminal charges for a false DMCA against the rights holder along with any Damages it will get them to back off for good and stop harassing them plus it would set good legal precedent for parody protections going forward something that is right now quite lacking. EFF or Institute for Justice might also step in here if asked
You chose the 10 year anniversarry to do so. They actually had a 10 year anniversarry stream yesterday that ended with a full ahowing of episode 17! The episode isn't on the VOD on Twitter, but the watchthrough and commentary on the rest of the series should still be up there.
Yui saying "You know who else would appreciate that view?" Immediately made me think of Muscle Man. I just prayed for her to say "My Mom!" In a perfect Muscle Man impression.
Do y'all have any plans on continuing this into Gun Gale and beyond? Because I can't lie, I am super excited to see Kirito's reaction to his new avatar. XD
I just finished watching on patreon. No spoilers but this is probably the best episode yet as far as writing goes. So well paced, so engaging, the voice acting was insanely passionate and plot points ended up making me cry. Fabulous job guys. I remember seeing the pilot shortly after its release and man what a journey it has been watching you for these last 10 years. Superb
I notice you didn't say anything about the humor... in a parody show. Last few episodes have definitely felt lacking there, and this comment only increases my expectations for more of the same. Hope I'm wrong.
@@_Stormfather The last episode was incredibly hilarious; no clue what you're talking about. Regardless, parodies aren't exclusively humorous. And in any case, I think people are more concerned about getting a good story than they are with getting something funny
From beginning my journey with this show back in middle school, I can't beleive I'm still invested. Discovering this opened up the door for my anime obsession😂
Can't believe I still look forward to this series It's been a long time but those notifications warm my heart up the same as they always did I thank you for your outstanding work, much lov3 ❤
If SAOA has 1000 fans, I am one of them If SAOA has 10 fans, I am one of them If SAOA has 1 fan, I am it I will be here everyday for the next 2 decades it takes to finish
Sad seeing people complainng in the comments. I check probably twice a day to see if its released yet but no need to post negative stuff. the swe team works incredibly hard and I feel we would be incredibly lucky to have season 1 completed.
Thank you so much for all the time, love, effort, blood, sweat, and tears you put into this series. It lightens my day to rewatch old episodes, and I quote them all the time. I'm really looking forward to seeing the full episode. Kudos and good night!
Man I love this series, yall done set the bar for abriged in my book and tons of my vocabulary has derrived from references to yalls work. Please, keep doing what you're doing, I'd support on patron if I could bit for now this is all I can do... keep up the good work :)
I just watched this full episode on their Patreon and, while I won’t spoil anything, I will say this: This next episode will easily be the episode with the best writing and story telling yet.
@@acebr3ak this is a preview while it makes its way through copyright, the episode is up on patreon along with a one-off reward incentive abridge of smartphone show
This is my favourite anime of all time. The abridged version i mean, SAO is great and all, but the abridged version is the pinnacle of creation. So well done, follows the show so well, and yet adds so much to the content of it. So good. Keep up the great work SWE!
Happy to have caught the premiere at the SWEbathon, despite the all nighter required - looking forward to the full ep being posted here, sending love from Britain 🇬🇧 ❤
YEEEEESSSSS. Like, no joke yesterday, I was just looking at this channel to see if a new episode was out. (I'm already subscribed, but I thought I might have missed it, so I wanted to check.)
Thank you!!!!!! The void is starting to be filled again! I've missed abridged content so much and this one takes the cake. 10/10 better than the original
Hey, Patreon guy here who saw this early. Don't worry, I won't spoil anything. But, if you are reading this and are planning on watching the episode... have a tissue box ready
What a great sweebathon it was! Hearing everyone's commentary during the stream was great fun, and you all deserve every bit of the praise you got from the fans!
Okay, effectively "paywalling" an abridged series is a low move from you guys, if its getting copyrighted on here you can provide links to ANY OTHER website to view it free of charge...
They make money off Patreon and RU-vid. They worked on this thing for a long ass time like a full year. pay or wait and don’t expect them to sacrifice probably 20+ of hours of work for free because you can’t wait an extra month for the free entertainment
I look forward one day to sitting down with my grandchildren and telling them about how I still had color in my hair when the first episode of SAOA came out. And they'll look at me with wonder in their eyes and say, "Oh fuck off grampa, no one is that old."
The stream was an adventure and then some. I loved how as the night wore on and poor Izzy lost his sanity, even the rest of Something Witty turned on him by adopting the dark side that was...Swebathon.
