I really appreciate that the writers have finally started giving Jonathan these moments of happiness and clarity. After all of the things he had to go through in seasons 1 and 2, it just seemed so unfair and was so hard to see his good character be slowly broken down bit by bit. In season 3 so far, we've seen Jonathan pass his driver's test and get proper closure on Eliza after she dumped him over the phone. I'm so glad that Jonathan turned Eliza down after thinking she could just worm her way back into Jon's life after she dumped him over a phone call even after she found out he was already dating someone else. Like Lois said in 1x05, Eliza realized that Jon was a great guy and that she majorly messed up by doing what she did and now she has to live with the regret, which in my opinion she definitely deserves it considering how wrong everything was going in Jon's life, she has no idea what she put him through. I really hope the writers keep this going for Jonathan's arc this season, the kid definitely deserves some happiness especially now that he's found out his mother's been diagnosed with cancer. Plus, I love how nonchalant the kids are with Jordan's powers and how he just casually flies in after freezing a car. And considering that Travis and his friends called Jordan and Sarah "beer bitches" just because they were salty after losing to them, I'd say they got off pretty easy with Jordan just freezing his car considering how in season 1, Jordan almost shattered a guy's skull when he got provoked. The kids at that party have no idea how lucky they are that Jordan learned his lesson in controlling his emotions and powers, otherwise I'm pretty sure the all would've gotten wrecked.

That look was intentional by the actress. She likes Jordan, she doesn't want him gone from her life and she seems to not understand why she doesn't like him the way he likes her. I think they are turning her gay, which is fine, but I hope they do it right and don't crush Jordan
In a recent interview, Alex said that their relationship is very important to the show, second to Clark and Lois, so I doubt that they’ll go down that route.
@Alex Dorisca but can't friends be just as important? Do they have to be in a relationship to be important? I mean could that be the case. I just feel like the distance they are creating between them is not the romantic tension kind.
@@ryanabate1981 i agree with you, but we’re not in the writer’s room so it is what it is lol. Guarantee, Jordan’s probably going to have another girl fall for him this season and that will prompt Sarah to realize what she really wants her friendship with Jordan to be.
@@alexdorisca It would be horrible if it's Sara who gets with another guy. If they do it, it needs to be Jordan. She's been pushing him away, so if they intend on making her the next Lois, she needs to chase him
