Thanks for the idea. I bought some kale recently and just washed it and ate it plain and raw! It was sort of like eating dried out old crepe paper? 😫 I figured there must be better ways so I'm hitting the interwebs for advice! 😅
@ Ken Click , very nice recipe, simple & healthy my good friend & Christian brother, if you like sweet onions like me & you, i try to buy vidalia onions when in season & available, the best in the world, i also like red onions for sweetness. I prefer fresh greens, but for folks on a tight budget, you will get the most bang for your buck getting frozen greens in the 1 lb. box. ie: kale, spinach, collard, turnip, mustard, greens, etc...when you buy 1 lb. you get that. When you buy 1 lb. of fresh greens they wilt down to 1/2 lb. or less, just have to let the frozen greens thaw out, much less costly & are almost as good as fresh, much better than canned for both with fresh or frozen.
