Holy Shit! Thanks for posting this!!! The Oliva Bros. are without a doubt my favorite writing team in music! Criss was amazing (R.I.P), and Jon is equally amazing! I have always regretted passing up on the chance to see them live and then it was too late...Chris had passed. :-( This at least gives me a snippet of what I missed even if it makes me even more sad I missed the chance to see them live together!
Had the pleasure meeting Chris and Jon in Toronto at rock and roll heaven in 1990 what a show with back up band Trouble they thanked us for coming out and shook our hands and said your in for a wild show and was it ever.LONG LIVE SAVATAGE
Wow! Criss cranked it out night after night! Another great performance, & I liked Jon's over-the-top echoes too! And what a crowd! Security guards really earned their money at that show!
I beleive the same tour I shared my beer with them and got their autographs from outside the orbit room in grand rapids. Would have had some pictures but I fucked up with my camera battery situation!
OMG!! This is so amazing!! I think the Gutter tour was Savatage at its best!! I saw them for the first time on the Edge tour and I met Criss one month before he died. R.I.P. Criss!! Thanks for posting this!! Very cool!!
This tour came to Pittsburgh, testament, nuclear assault and savatage. Savatage showed up late and didn't play. Lucky for me I was in line to buy tickets when their bus showed up. I went to try to get autographs while someone held my place in line. Jon invited me on the bus! Quick meat n greet! Thanked them told i was only there to see them and i had to get back in line for tickets. They told they would not be playing so save your money! Thanked them again. I took the denim jacket ,signed, back the guy holding my place in line and cranked savatage the whole way home.
Loved these guys saw them many times at the old Rocket club in Tampa...put on a hell of a show each time....Criss...you will always be missed..but never forgotten...RIP...
I saw the opening night of this tour at First Avenue in Minneapolis. The place was packed and I was right behind the sound board bouncing up and down singing along for their entire set. Of raaaaage and waaaaaaaaaaar! Epic night!
This was the tour with Testament and Nuclear Assault I believe. You can see the Testament banner above the stage. I saw this show on the Chicago stop. I was 17 years old. It was incredible!
@@romankrhounek5974 all these bands were rotating and headlining themselves and Capitol Theatre. This same year Trouble and Savatage played here again together, then trouble then headlined a show , then testament came back with Slayer early the following year . Overkill was on a couple of those bills . Somehow seen overkill like 8 times in 2 years .
