It has been far too long so I’m back as much as I can be, here is a quick video to say how much I appreciate you all and to explain a bit more of my absence. All the very best to you
Hello Tim….. I am so glad to see you back on your channel, even just a brief hello from Dramur Amok. I am glad you have healed up enough to lay in it and feel great comfort. I always remember you have stated many times…. Your best sleeps were in your Amok. Such a nice surprise today to see a notification for your video. About the thigh bruise…. Awful pain that would be, however on a brighter note…. Nice thigh… hahahaha Don’t mind me teasing you dear Tim…. You know I worried about you and now I see you are almost recovered. Take care dear friend. Thanks for the video. Best to you and your family. Be safe…. 💯💕👌😇 🇨🇦 LilliStJohn p.s. I also hope John is ok 😇
Hahaha thank you for bringing a smile to my face as always, it’s nice to hear from you I hope you are well. Yes a brief hello from the amok was all I could muster this time but I couldn’t even think about getting into the thing a month or two ago. All the very best to you take care
Hey Tim, nice to see you out and about and glad you're ok and getting better. Sorry, just finding out about your situation. Not much into social media and having my fair share of tests so to speak. Again, glad you're ok and hope family's the same. Look forward to future videos. 👍🙂
Hi Tim, just watching this video while I'm in a similar situation - I was knocked off my bike into a concrete post at about 30mph 6 weeks ago, ended with lots of rib / sternum / lung damage and a 7 day stay on the NHS. I've been sleeping in my hammock in the garage the last few nights, trying desperately to get comfortable, and thought I'd look into the Amok... And came across your video! Anyway I hope you're doing better now. All the best and thanks for the videos 👍
Thank you for the comment. Sorry to hear about your crash it sounds like you had a rough deal with it, I hope your not long in being back to full heath. The Amok is definitely a lot more comfortable than a regular hammock but can be a bit more tricky to get in and out of but I love mine a lot and use them often. All the best to you
im glad to see you back and on the mend! that bruise looked brutal. 2020 was my year. i fell and broke a rib and then few months later broke ankle and messed the tendons up in my shin. take your time coming back but keep us updated even if its from your couch. we miss ya dude.
I’m sorry to hear you had all that to deal with, can’t have been nice all that together, I hope your all better now. I will make sure to keep you all updated and I’ll be out again sooner than last time. All the best
Glad to hear your recovering well mate, wondered where you had got to. Sorry to hear about the tumbles bud, but glad you back out even if I bit tight and sore. Take care bud see you on the next one.
Glad your on the mend. 2021 hasn’t been the best for me broke my ankle on 9 June up Scotland. Still not back at work yet. So definitely know how you feel.
I commiserate with you on the injuries and healing. I'm grateful to higher powers you are still here, and are on the mend. Be patient with yourself, as you mend; that is the one mistake we all make: trying to get back to normal before the body is ready. I'm so glad you are doing better.
@@TimRobson30 no it's not a nice thing I had a high speed wreck barely got hurt I had a low speed wreck to like you and it hurt worse it don't make no sense does it but I am glad to see you are getting back to normal and maybe you'll get back into camping and I can watch more of your videos take care my friend.
Cheers Tim, good tae see ye back and nearly fighting fit. I feel your pain. I really do. My shoulders still knackered after my two accidents. 🏍️👍🏻 keep it shiney side up. 🤘
It’s a hellish experience pal it really is, waking up on the side of the road the first time no having a foggy what’s was going on and then this second one was in a 20mph zone and I wasn’t even doing that, most my injuries are from the wing mirror stalk in my leg. Keep shiny side up too bud. All the best
Long time no see Tim, sorry to hear about your bike accidents mate, great that you can finally get back out, when I see you in a Amok, makes me smile, I remember when I got the tw xl hammock after seeing you in yours, afew years ago now lol, glad your on the mend, and I've finally started my channel at last too, and even Instagram, even though I'm a techno idiot lol, I'm up near ish you afew times a year as my eldest daughter is at uni in Newcastle ,good health and safe travels my friend, cheers craig 🌿
Hi there thank you for the comment. I subscribed to your channel and I’ll go follow you on Instagram, don’t worry you will get more accustomed to the social media side of it, I used to find talking behind to the camera off and now I can’t shut up hahaha. Yes pal things have come a long way since my old TW hammocks I still have both of them and if I could get a good underquilt I would use it now and again. All the best
@@TimRobson30 still use mine too, plus there tarps, thanks for the sub, I remember when you were making your own knives in your gaff, awhile ago now lol
Good to see You back Tim. Bless You, You have really been through it this year. It will be great to see You back camping again, but do it when You're ready, don't rush back we will all be waiting, x
Hello from the states. Glad you are on the mend. really missed you and Johns Videos. Hope all is well with John as well. Best wishes and hoping for a speedy recovery for you
Tim, fantastic to see you again, terrible what happened to you , the recovery from such accidents is enormous. take care hope your life in general is doing ok. to see you and Daddy John back out will be great.......take care and look forward to seeing you improve, and get back to the old Tim.
Great to see you out filming Tim enjoyed your watching video thanks for sharing take care and be safe see you on the next video hopefully with you and John take care Tim 👍
I had similar injuries, had to get off the pain killers, just took antiflamitory instead. Naproxen did the trick. I got so high on painkillers I could hardly speak. It will get better faster now Tim, soon you will be back to normal.
Its funny I was only watching your old vids last night and wondered if I should leave a comment to see how you were!! And boom here you are!! All the best Tim take it easy mate 👍
Look forward to some new vids from you 👍 My eldest son and I recently started filming our wild camps channel is called Back 2 basics York Sorry in advance for the bad language if you do have a look 😁👍
Hey Tim. Missed you dude. So glad to see you out and about. Hope you are doing well. Take care of yourself and hope to see you on an overnighter soon. 💖✌️
Tim, just remember it wasn't long ago you needed help getting in bed. And now you can walk half a mile. I'd say that's massive progress. You'll get there, positive thoughts all the way. ❤️
Hi Tim we spoke over on Instagram, just wanted to leave a comment here too to say how much I enjoyed the video. Its a slow road when your recovering and sometimes it's the mental side of things that take the longest without you even realising it but in the end it works itself out. Take each day as it comes, that's how I've survived. 👍
Hi bud thanks for contacting me and I’m sorry it’s taken a while to reply, I’m getting busy again and was out camping last night too. Your right about the mental side of things it’s really hit me and I noticed that even more sat in my hammock on my own last night. All the best
@@TimRobson30 It's okay mate take your time. Hope last night went well. Talk to your closest when your feeling that way man it really helps getting it off your chest, it's like a weight off your back. You all good now?
There’s plenty of camping vlogs . But I love the simplicity of yours . I got to you from John. But a ho. I’ve had plenty of crashes. All u can do is get back on it . Much love from a triumph street triple rider
Honestly yes it is a little colder but this can be solved by pitch direction and by pegging down the end of your tarp to make semi doors to cut down on wind. I just got back from camping in -2 and I did notice it more than with my 4.0 in camouflage but I closed in the end of the tarp and also packed my down jacket into the space on the cold side, that helped a lot. Uploading a video of it now 👍
@@TimRobson30 ok top, you convinced me! It's gonna be the 5.0 camo ,(heavyweight one) 🤗 But I do like that you can look through the lightweight!! 😏 But, greets from holland🌷! 👍🏻✌🏻💪🏻
@@pieteroudshoorn2421 I honestly don’t think weight is an issue with either of them and they both have the same features, the pack size is only say 1/3 smaller and the weight I don’t notice on my back. All the best to you and hello to Holland
Say hello to John whenever he surfaces.. And the bike is not worth it. Got rid of mine years ago. Cell phones changed the streets. Off road riding, much safer. 👍
I don’t do Instagram or Tiktok and didn’t know what happened to you. A two minute video from home would have helped. I’m not mad or fussing at you. Thank God you are ok !!!! Take your time healing !!! Your friends will still be here waiting to go on another adventure with you !!! Love you brother !!!! Jim in Tennessee
Hi Tim I have to ask have you and John had a fall out, He released an update a little while ago saying he would be back soon but you would not be included he soon deleted that update, but he has not uploaded since, I do hope you are still friends and would love to see you both back at the debris camp with tyson.
I’ve no idea, he flips out with me from time to time, I think he believes I stopped camping because he was no longer providing the camping if you know what I mean, when I told him this was not the case he said he didn’t care and that I should keep to my own channel. 🤷♂️
