Stuff I wish they could’ve add that wasn’t already in this list - Kingsmoot with the bones of Nagga - Rhaegal And Viserion actually having a personality and not being just the background dragons - All the visions/dreams multiple characters have - the battle of the whispering wood - Varamyr Sixskins and his three wolves, shadowcat, snow bear, and (formerly Orell’s) eagle. - A proper battle of ice and not whatever they gave us just to write off Stannis. - More giants and mammoths (wun wun isn’t the last giant in the books and there are quite a few Mammoths which they ride.) Okay and I kno these have yet to be seen in the books but I am 99.9% certain we will see em in Winds but imma say Krakens.

1:30 Actually imagine a well animated series for A Song of Ice and Fire where everything could look exactly the way it's supposed to. They wouldn't have to worry about actors looking different or having to age characters up, they'd just need the right voices. I'm thinking something like Castlevania, especially with how great the architecture looks in that show.

Apparently you kinda forgot those clowns were offered almost unlimited time and resources. They didn't want to do it, it wasn't that it was "too expensive". Good writing was also too expensive apparently, as it never appeared after season 4 and part of 5.

What about the carriage that Queen Cersei and her children used in the first episode of the series back in Winterfell. In the books, the whole carriage was a lot bigger that it didn't even fit the Winterfell's great gate so the royalties had to walk to get inside the castle. It was also mobilized by 40 (?) draft horses.

About #7: In the books Tywin ordered the smith to work in red Lannister colour into the steel, but since even much of the recolouring process had been lost since the Doom it didn't come out as bright and clear red as he wanted

Rickon's return is something I am really looking forward to in the books. It's established that in a sense skinchanging goes both ways, so the beast becomes more like a human, and the human becomes more like a beast. Jon deliberately fights this as his ability as a skinchanger, and it's possible Robb may have struggled with this as well, as it's implied he was the first of the Starks to skinchange at will, and given how Grey Wind was by far the most violent of the wolves, had he embraced the power, skinchanging could have drastically changed Robb's personality had they been together longer. But Rickon? He's a four year old, he won't understand any of this. Shaggy Dog's strength will be far greater than Rickon's and as he has no understanding of his power, he won't shy away from it deliberately like Jon. On top of this, he's a Greenseer possibly just as powerful as Bran and is living among the most savage people in the Seven Kingdoms. Rickon's going to return as like a full on cannibalistic animal wizard riding a unicorn or a giant black direwolf. And who knows, the Skaagosi could even end up worshipping him or something due to his powers.

I think everyone took a “little break” after season 8 😂

They really screwed up with a lot things in the show for example all of the castles they are supposed to be massive in size, the Red Keep is the most egregious example.

Haven't read the book yet, but i understand that Dorne was a huge place, not just that silly garden they put in season 5 in the tv show. Also, hair styles, clothes, everything was different (even eccentric), yet in the show they just gave them generic clothes... Also, Euron had Valerian armor not shown in the tv show and an artifact that could call dragons!? again, missing.

I just would've loved to seen Aegon (Young Griff) come in, and have Viserion bond with him. Have Rhaegal bond with Jon, and have a giant Dance of Dragons war.

I would of liked the House of The Undying scene to be have been more like the book version. It's probably my favourite Dany chapter in the whole series, and it's just full wild shit that would have been awesome to see brought to life.

Damn dude! A dragon skull so large you could ride on horseback in its jaws!! Just Imagine the the damage a dragon that large could do in Westeros! Just imagine the scale of creatures out there in the rest of the world and from the past! I sure do hope Martin writes a book expanding of the magical world and the creatures in it rather than just another book about family drama. It'd add a whole new level of lore and depth to the world.

I would loved to see the battle with Tyrion and his wildmen againts the forces of the North, insted of Tyrion being knocked out.

When they mentioned the ripples, I imagined the ripple patterns on Damascus steel, so all this time I've just been picturing dark Damascus steel when they mentioned Valyrian steel.

Despite the fact that D&D could have done far better, this video just makes me realize that it would be extremely hard to really do justice to GRRM's world on screen. The man's just a genius.

Despite everything I genuinely felt bad Cersei didn't get her elephants. Like she really seemed excited for a moment about them. Lena Headey is great XD

I thought Old Valyria was pretty uninspiring in the show honestly, the vast cities of wonder would look a bit more appealing even after centuries of abandonment- apart from the stone men

They couldn't even be bothered with a full on battle with the Golden Company, clearly, let alone the elephants. Casterly Rock was so disappointing on the show. Dragonstone was just okay but they couldn't afford a siege there either. Dany and crew just waltzed in with no one guarding it. We weren't even able to see Dorne beyond the Water Gardens. On a more contemplative note, I think 'budget limitations' are only part of it. Even big budgets are limited in how they would be spent - just watch The Last Watch documentary. Pressures on the production team were enormous and virtually unsustainable. The other part of the equation is that it felt like they didn't want to go full tilt high fantasy, which could've risked becoming camp. There seems to be a fine line between fantasy and camp. Superhero shows and movies try to tread either really gritty or somewhat campy, and quite a few find a nice middle ground. The show pretty much tried to avoid depicting any magical or fantastical elements that didn't contribute to the story they were trying to tell. In doing so, they grounded the story in something more realistic and relatable. However, it could be argued that this focus on realism partially doomed the show in some ways, as magic plays such a huge role in the books, what with prophecy and beliefs of the mystic driving the fates of man. It would have added another layer of complexity to what drives character motivations and would raise questions about choice vs fate. For instance, they left out the Valonqar prophecy which partially drove Cersei's hatred and, consequently, ill-treatment of Tyrion. We were able to suspend disbelief for ice zombies and dragons, shadow assassins and whatnot. It's not entirely beyond the audience to be able to understand or appreciate this level of depth and detail. But all this is beside the point. Ultimately, the writing is what let the series down in the end, even back in seasons 4-5.

I think Game of Thrones would have been better if it was in an anime style or just animated with a good budget.

The Casterly's were tricked into abandoning the castle by Lan the clever. He did it by basically reenacting episodes of scooby-doo and convinced them the castle was haunted.

5:09 actually Essos did have dragons. One of the older Queens had a mistress that stole her dragon eggs and fled to Essos. Maybe those dragons hatched and the skeleton is from those dragons

One of the changes I do have to say I preferred in the show, would be where Arya serves as Tywins cupbearer opposed to Roose Bolton’s. The dialogue and atmosphere between them was so intense, yet completely calm.. amazing stuff.

My boy Tobho Mott states in the books that he wanted to make the two swords forged from Ice crimson red for the Lannisters but the spells he used just couldn't get there, and the result was that rippling effect as seen in the blade. A corruption, if you will. Obviously meant to impart the same notion as when Tywin's body stunk to high-heavens - to indicate corruption.
