Outstanding! The drummer was so solid. Every 2 and 4 backbeat was right in time and all at the same volume. No extra fills getting in the way of the song. She is a rock!!

Really well done, particularly for a live performance. The arrangement and mix were great. Lilly is a beast on drums and held the song together like a champ. She reminded me a little of Bonzo. Don't stop rockin' kids! -dave

Lilly, the drummer, her backbeat is solid as fuck. They all did an amazing job, but a live band is only as good as it's drummer... so kudos to Lilly!!

EXCELLENT cover! When one does a cover of a song that spent six weeks at #1 (in 1982) you want it to be good. The lead vocalist delivers exceptionally nice here.

Another great performance of this group or school, technically perfect and I enjoyed very much listening to this, however it is almost identical to the original by Survivor, they might consider being more creative and tweak a bit every now and then.

Wow, brilliantly mastered. My high school marching band and stage band play this amazing song together at halftime of a football game. In 1983. Great to see rock still matters in these young talented hearts.

I’ve been watching some amazing covers from these students in this channel. Truthfully, this singer is the only one that didn’t impress me at all. She’s talented, of course, just not a good fit for her specially for such an iconic song.

The opening riff reminds me of the opening to Another Brick In The Wall (Part 1). I think someone might have borrowed a little bit of the opening, playing it on a guitar instead of bass. Survivor that is, not these kids. They do a great job.

Still killing the older stuff. I was never a fan of this song, but nice work just the same. Vocals very strong. Rarely does the drummed stand out, she killed it. Not sure about the shorts though!

Luv U Guyz. You nailed. Shout out to everyone. Obviously this is an over the top male macho song. However, to see a lovely young thing sing her heart out is great. Never heard female before do this song. To lead: Only "suggestion," but never criticism, is to dial it up at least a notch. This song is a gut buster. Think how Joplin would have handled this: down flat on one's back, took his chances and lost paid his dues, but will rise like a Phoenix. Put the female side of this in, like Janis, and leave your guts on the stage. My sons, who are a bit older than the band would say that Janis "sang the hell out of it!" Go forth and sing the hell out of hit in your own style. However, great as is.

One of the things I've missed from SOR videos posted during COVID-19 was seeing members of the band that were really young - I'm guessing some of these are 8th-9th grade. It is great to see them back here.
