If we let our kids disrespect a security guard, what makes you think his going to do with the police? The parents? Regardless of the case, this generation needs to learn to give respect where respect is given.

Just read up on this kid- he actually got killed in July 2022- he was 25. It looks like he was charged with shooting a man but the guy survived. Then Willie got killed a few months later smh. Also, there were several articles that show Willie had been arrested multiple times over the years so apparently he had a long record smh. Sad smh

So he says in the court room that he was going to just talk to the man at the school then admits at the end he was going to cause issues just like his son said. Instead of trying to fight other people dealing with your out of control son put that energy into teaching your child wrong from right and how to behave. Smh

The security guard has a anger problem as well, you should never choke a child and should have been fired

There are so many things that could be said about this case, but the thing that sticks out to me the most is how the father said he is the disciplinarian but he doesn’t have custody of his son. All kids need both parents, but boys need their fathers to raise them to be men and show them to take responsibility like a man.

The son is now deceased. I Googled his name and found his obit.

So he said he wanted to talk when he was called to the school, but at the end he threatened him. No one is disciplining the kid. And its a damn shame.

We need positive black men in the schools, actually men period for young boys to see as a positive role model. The plaintiff is a manly man that them boys needed. Id feel secure w/him at my kids school. Hope he can get a child back in the school systems. That young man just don't understand the severity of the impact he caused on someone doing a great job and possibly prevent him from a future jail sentence

I’m work in juvenile probation, the dad is the EXACT reason why I will get my time in and quit ! We can’t help or advocate for youth when these are the type of parents allowing the bullshit, go see your kid in lock up or the cemetery since you condone this mess. Sounds like the parents are problematic and are fighting with one another and having all sorts of issues, which in turn is rubbing off on that poor boy. He's troubled, but lets understand where that trouble comes from, which is the home.

The plaintiff is now a Bishop.

Unfortunately the son was killed and apparently had several run ins with the wrong side of the law. Based on his dads lack of accountability & discipline cant say this ia shocking to learn! Unfortunate, but not shocking.

Such a sad ending, the defendant is now deceased due to gun violence per Google. Unfortunately, his school disciplinary issues led him to that path. The dad is guilty as well.

The father’ response at the end is exactly why his troubled son behaves the way he does… this won’t be the son’s last time he’ll be in court

So I'm from Rochester NY and what's crazy is the son was shot and killed in 2022. He was a cool guy, definitely had a temper but he was cool.

Father threatened that man and sent a very clear message to his son regarding the situation.

The First thing the Security Officer said the Student got in his face. Second The Security said he pushed the Student out of his face. Third the Security Officer should not have push the Student out of his face. Forth the Security Officer should have called the Police an let the Police handle it. Myself as a Security Officer I am taught not to act as a Police and I am not to put my hands on anyone because when I put my hands on somebody that would be called Assault and Battery. Yes the young Student is a trouble child however I believe the Security Officer was the Aggressive one by Pushing the Student out of his face. The Security never said the Student pushed him or put his hands on him. The Security seems like he was Picking on the Student because of past Incident he had with the Student.

The security should’ve got a raise instead of being fired.

Wow at the end the father shows his ignorance threatening the plaintiff who evidently was doing his job ...told his son multiple times to go to class....the boy was crying out for help which lead to a man losing his career.

This security guard’s every other action was to push which will definitely escalate things. These actions unless under immediate threat or peril, can be seen as assault.

I hate this for this little boy but if this continues his father will be visiting his son in jail. Also the security guard doesn’t need to nudge or help nobody do anything.

I don’t like that the security guard admitted he didn’t let go, even when another male security guard, said: “Let him go, I have him.” The school must be financially deficient for them not to even have working cameras. Cameras would’ve resolved this entire situation and proved the truth.

I do kinda feel like the security guard went to far with the boy, because even if you can use force it’s NEVER ok for an adult to harm a child!!

Why is everyone ignoring the fact that grown security guard admitted to putting his hands on him first in two separate incidents! Also, if a parent were to choke their own child up like that then the parent would be arrested for child abuse but the security guard gets a pass. And I’m not taking up for the boy at all because he was in the wrong but the security guard also handled this wrong.

Both parents failed him. Sad situation.
