It could be that he is just so heartbroken by it that he doesn't even want to address it. Scottie meant a lot to MJ and it's crazy that Scottie doesn't see it. Truly sad to see.
Mike also said "When they speak the name Michael Jordan, they should speak of Scottie Pippin", if that isn't the highest level of praise from the GOAT, I really don't know what is.
@@Faven2011 yup. All he literally does is kick teammates under the bus, constantly. All while complaining he needs more help. Because he can't win if he is the leader on the team, he just doesn't have it.
MJ was on a pedestal and his teammates were secondary. That's why The Last Dance was an accurate documentary. I was a big Pippen fan. The first time MJ left the game, he broke all of our hearts. We were looking towards Pip to be the leader MJ was. Then he sat out that final play because he wasn't going to get the shot. I'll never forget that and how it changed my feelings towards Scottie Pippen, forever. MJ loved to win and Scottie loved himself.
@@WarrenPuffetHis best scoring season he put up 22 ppg without Jordan. 22. That’s not a great player. It’s good, but not great. When people say “Jordan needed Pippen” it’s just not true. He could have had any other serviceable fringe-all star level guy and probably would’ve still had a comparable amount of success
@@WarrenPuffetthat’s the real question !! Pippen was given the keys to a dynasty in the mist of his absolute peak. He let everyone down by losing to the Knicks, a team they always beat besides that year.. the season after he was begging for Jordan to come back. He proved right there he couldn’t lead to the promise land despite having everything handed to him on a platter.. which was the exact opposite of jordan who had to help build everything from scratch
Good call, Johnm I like tocontrast Scottie Pippen against another small forward of roughly the same era who played under similar circumstances. James Worthy would have been a superstar on many teams, but he was third-billed behind Magic and Kareen on the Lakers. He never bitched about not getting top billing or attention, never took pot shots at the other stars, and always played extremely well in the clutch, hence the nickname "Big Game James." Pippen was a very nice complement to Michael Jordan, but he was never going to be a centerpiece a team could built around. We saw that in Chicago after Jordan left, and again when he went to Portland with a fair amount of talent around him. Pippen was selfish, craved the spotlight, and pouted when things didn't go his way. Now he's spending his retirement tarnishing his legacy and all the rings he owns but wouldn't have sans Jordan.
We all know that Jordan was a dick many times, but claiming he kinda hated his teammates is absurd. With being so extremely competitive, he made all of them better and they all won those rings together, instead of leaving the team, like LeBron did. So Pippen and co should be thankful
I would even argue LeBron buries his teammates under the bus. What did he say recently about his Lakers? That they suck even if they beat the Celtics without him?
Did scottie ever say LeBron was better? He said LeBron has no comparison statistically. He's scored the most points. And statistically he does have the career stats. Without film, LeBron looks like the most well rounded player ever. But the context is lacking in the stats obviously
@@OneWingedAngelsBandabsolutely. Lebron has never displayed a truly genuine act of respect for his time on the heat. Lebron goes after people behind closed doors though because he is an utter coward and is just plain dumb compared to Jordan.
How is that absurd… U WERENT THERE! U watched a documentary that was made for MJ basically by MJ…. U know nothing of what went on with that man and his team in real life
What the guys doing the All Bull Tour dont realize is they are destroying their own legacies but they aren't harming Jordans especially since Jordan hasn't even engaged them at all since Pippen started this one man fued.
why are u confusing the no bull tour with this video, went to see it and they didnt bag jordan at all, and all longley has ever said about jordan is he is the goat on the court and a asshole to everyone off it, a point to which longley said was about basketball and jordans success, destroying their legacy, try finding out what was actually said before guessing, though u are right pippen has been talking about jordan too much over the last couple of years.
I love the fact these celebrities are too arrogant to realize we don't care lmao. Jordan is GOAT imo, whatever Scottie says wont change that, I only think Scottie is an ass hat now.
Jordan is only good because he had tech in his shoes that let him get more air time then everyone else. If I had a jet pack I'd be better than everyone too. Bird trashed Jordan everytime by elevating him team, not just himself with special shoes
He lost his sanity after his son died and future took his wife. The last dance was the tipping point. Jordan’s son dating his ex also added fuel to the fire
It's insane how these guys think they were the main reason they won. Without MJ they have 0 rings and nobody gives a fuck about luc Longley, Toni kukoc, and Scottie Pippen wouldn’t be as popular as he is now. It’s crazy bro. I understand that Mj gets most of the credit for the championships but it's because of him that you have those rings.
Michael Jordan played five seasons without Scottie Pippen 84-85 38-44..First round exit 85-86. 30-52..First round exit 86-87. 40-42...First round exit 01-02. 37-45..out of playoffs 02-03. 37-45..out of playoffs Lebron james has won more playoff Series' than any player in NBA HISTORY Lebron james has been to 10 nba finals. Only Bill Russell and Sam Jones (in a mostly nine team league) have made more nba finals appearances LeBron james carried an absolutely horrific 2007 Cleveland Cavaliers team to the nba finals In the modern NBA era (post 1960) only nine NBA top 75 players have won a championship without another top 75 player as a teammate Rick Barry (1975) Bill Walton (1977) Hakeem Olajuwon (1994) Tim Duncan (2005) (2007) Kobe Bryant (2009) (2010) Steph Curry (2015) (2022) LeBron james (2016) Kawhi Leonard (2019) Giannis Antetokounmpo (2021) As you can see, LeBron James is on the list and Michael Jordan isnt Lebron james has won 17 playoff series, without an nba top 75 teammate. Michael Jordan won ZERO In the year before Michael Jordan and LeBron James joined their team and the year after they left their team, their records were 83-84 bulls 27-55 84-85 bulls. 38-44 92-93 bulls 57-25 93-94 bulls 55-27 98-99 bulls 13-37 without Scottie Pippen 00-01 wizards 19-63 01-02 wizards. 37-45 02-03 wizards 37-45 03-04 wizards 25-57 02-03 cavaliers 17-65 03-04 cavaliers 35-47 09-10 cavaliers 61-21 10-11 cavaliers 19-63 09-10 heat. 47-35 10-11 heat 58-24 14-15 heat 37-45 2013-14 cavaliers 33-49 2014-15 cavaliers 53-29 2017- 18 cavaliers 50-32 2018-19 cavaliers 19-63 2017-18 lakers. 35-47 2018-19 lakers were 20-14 when LeBron James got injured on Christmas day. As you can see When LeBron James joins a team, the team improves more than Michael Jordan and when LeBron James leaves a team, the team always goes into the tank. Michael Jordan, excluding the 94-97 seasons, when the NBA moved the three point line to 22 feet, was a career 28% three point shooter. LeBron James is a career 34% three point shooter Michael Jordan was a great defensive player, in an Era where you could handcheck. Playing defense is much easier when you can handcheck. For nearly 6'9 250 LeBron James' entire career he wasn't afforded the opportunity to handcheck. THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR..LEBRON JAMES IS THE GOAT!!!!! I have added a Postscript So many have replied, that LeBron james didn't make the playoffs his first two years and Jordan did. What they fail to say is, in 1985, 16 of 23 teams made the playoffs. In 2004, 16 of 29 teams made the playoffs. It was MUCH EASIER to make the playoffs in 1985, as opposed to 2004. Perfect example is, the 1985 86 bulls went 30-52 and made the playoffs and the 2004 05 cavaliers went 42-40 and did not make the playoffs. Also, I don't know, possibly, maybe, Jordan had a HUGE ADVANTAGE considering he played three years of college basketball and LeBron James was 19 years old, and straight out of high school
U mentioned Jordan first 3 years in the league actually MAKING the playoffs. But didn't mention Lebron missing them 2 out of his first 3. U mentioned Jordan team having a good record when he left (94-95) them but ignored the context that that team had literally just 3peated something No Lebron team has ever done. So clearly they were a better team without MJ, compared to a team that just lost and THEN lost Lebron
@@vicepresidentmikepence889 you copy and paste that on every basketball video ever. 1 response 2011 Meltdown doesn't happen to Jordan, and also getting torched by old role player Jason Terry

In the early 80s, I was a big fan of the NBA. In the late 80s and 90s, I was a mega fan of the NBA and MJ. MJ elevated the game and opened it up to the world. I barely watch the NBA anymore, because most players talk and act like the spoiled Scotty Pippen has over the past few years. It's embarrassing that these pampered multi-millionaires are not gracious enough to realize they are privileged to play a game for millions.
Check this out. In MJ whole career, he has only played with 3 other Hall of Famers Rodmen, Pippen, and Kukoc. He only played with 9 Allstars, which is less than any of the other greats. These guys should be thanking MJ.
Jordan should've bought out the tour tickets & showed up to the first show in the front row. After that, he could give the tickets to all the homeless people around Australia. 😂
Uncut Hoops, Skap Attack and AOH are like the Avengers we didn't know we needed. Actually, to be fair, we obviously know we needed them. ...This NBA shit has been getting so ridiculous.
@@SuperSonic_868 Angry Old Hoops Fan. He's pretty funny. He goes at LeBron mostly. Skap and Uncut are more diverse. AOH just hates the new NBA lol Knows his shiznit though
Several reasons. Pipen signed a long contract before salaries went way up. Jordan was making WAY more $$$ than Pipen, which contributed to jealousy. Later on, Jordans son started dating Pipens ex-wife.
yep the notion that once Pippen got there they immediately started winning when its not Jordan also lost with Pippen because his Pippen is not that good Pippen became good because of MJ because he aint that good the first time he went with the Bulls but MJ always gives Pip his props so idk why this man is like that
@@dxtremecaliber Money, Bad decisions. and deep seeded anger and jealousy towards MJ are the biggest outlining factors, im assuming. Im not gonna shit on Pippen for what he DID for the Bulls Franchise back in the day. He contributed to those 6 chips as well, I cant knock him for that. But he has grown into a spiteful, jealous and bitter person.
Has anyone in here seen the No Bull Tour show? Well some people have and they were blown away about how opposite is this to what people expect.....they said they (Pip, Grant & Luc) wasnt thrashing MJ in fact they said that they (Pip, Grant & Luc) were giving MJ props for being a good solid leader and Pip said in the show that MJ is Da GOAT.
I went to the No Bull Tour in Sydney and they hardly spoke about Jordan & the last dance they certainly didn’t talk bad about MJ. They mainly spoke about their careers and winning those championships they were involved in. I think they named the tour the “No Bull” tour just to sell tickets and for publicity
Jordan would've listened to Scottie if Scottie would've said something while they were playing. Whenever anyone asked Jordan about his top five, Scottie would always be listed. Sad.
There is no GOAT. Nobody will ever be the greatest in every aspect. There are positional and situational GOATs. Jordan is the 2 guard GOAT without question.
If Michael Jordan didn't push his team mate's they Wouldn't have been as Successful as they were Michael Jordan Drive was the Reason for there Success and We all knows that."
Scottie Pippen and Chris Bosh have nearly identical career stats only big difference is Scottie averaged more assists (5.2 to 2.0) and steals (2.0 to 0.8). Bosh had slightly more points averaged, slightly better shooting percentages for every shooting category, and slightly more blocks. Also if y’all care about all star selections Chris Bosh has 11 and Pippen has 7. They’re really close in numbers I just think this is an interesting bit of information
Bosh was a better offensive player than Pip. Kyrie is definitely superior. Give MJ Wade and Udonis and he wipes the floor. Wade is waaayyy better than Pip. Is Pip a better defensive player? Not by much. Is Wade a better offensive player? Broke down Wade is better.
@@moneyjones5150 And without Wade. He didn't need the super friends that LeBron concocted. All the old school players, Bird, Magic, Isaiah and Jordan made fun of them for doing it. They implied that MEN want to play against each other to see who the best actually was.
Pippen never ever had to deal with the best defender guarding him. His offensive stats are a result of always getting a lower grade defender. People fail to mention that.
Scottie gave a backhanded compliment. "It was all brought from us being successful as a team, obviously..." In other words, Scottie is saying, "WE made MJ the GOAT through OUR success."
As a Bulls fan who watched every game in the 90s, I always gave Pippen his credit. However at this point, I've now switched to saying he did nothing but ride Jordan's coat tails. Pippen doesn't deserve to be in the top 75 players of all time. He only has his rings, because of Jordan. Not to mention his stats were alright, but again, he got those while ever single defense was set on doubling and triple teaming Jordan. You could swap Pippen out with any servicible player at that time, and the Bulls still would have got their wins and championships. I'm pretty sure there isn't a Chicago fan that gives a turd about Pippen at this point. All self inflicted.
I guess Jordan was supposed to be the greatest, enable the success and careers of everyone around him, do most of the heavy lifting required to get 6 rings, but also maintain a facade that he's not as great as he is so that Scottie feels more important?
Every single time Scottie airs his displeasure, all that comes to mind is him sitting on the bench and pointing at the Jordan logo under his shoe calling for Mike to come back while the camera was on him in 1995. I guess he liked the punishment and wanted another dose at the time. I completely get that focusing on his lows for the last dance was a punch to the nuts, but he's overreacting. The younger generation might not have known about those details, but the rest of us did.
I can just about promise everyone that this issue will be resolved between the two,Time takes care of everything in life situations. The best two that i have ever seen play the game of basketball.😊
Jordan didn't get out of the first round of the playoffs until Pippen got there. He didn't win a title until Pippen got there. They needed each other to win point blank.
MJ is a class act! I was a white guy that could jump because I wanted to be like Mike! At 16 years old, i could jump flat fotted and hang on the rim. I was 5' 10" back then. I used to love walking in the gym and everybody looking at me sideways. Then i would walk up without warming up and jam the ball! The black guys would always be like "I am picking him first"! That was a great complement to me! I was also tough and barely ever called a foul. I got unto a lot of fights back then, but i earned my respect! I credit all of yhos to MJ!!
One thing is true, for sure, is that Jordan would be ringless without him, and hasn't proved, with any other team, that he wouldn't be, as Bron proved over, and over, and over again.
Pippen is clearly making a fool of himself. Pippen must be thinking people forgot there’s a large portion of the population saw the Bulls run. I was in my early twenties. That was the team of my era. Michael was actually better than I remembered. He never took nights off. I heal carried the team through his migraines, back injuries, and whatever else I forgot. Mike said,”We were a tandem. He deserves this as much as me. He should get half the award.” Where’s the highlights of Scottie ever making a big shot. Pip was the only other hall of famer. Rodman was a hall of fame cause of defense and rebounding. This is just ridiculous
Somebody needs to make a compilation of every time MJ has praised Scottie over the years so we can see just how much MJ really wanted the spotlight on himself
MJ never in any documentaries discredited Pippen for his valuable contribution to Bulls dynasty, MJ always gives Pippen his flowers. I dont know what their interntions are. smh.
and the fact that he dug up horace grant’s punk a$$, the princess of grievance 304dom, to tour with, says everything i need to know about how i won’t even think about seeing it. just so pathetic.
It's sad. Scottie's a guy that never thinks things through before he says or does them. Unfortunately it's public and hurts his reputation. Forget Jordan stuff, it's woman stuff, contract stuff, IN GAME stuff. Whether vs. Detroit early on, or the tantrum for the last shot in 94. Scottie's choices. With all of this, there's nothing for Jordan to say. Scottie's showing why it's important to have therapy. Seriously. I'm not going to bash Pippen because I honestly think he's sick, hurting and needs help. Low-key worried about the guy.
4:05 If you don't want to be called a "supporting cast" for Jordan, then just what the hell do you think you should be called? Surely, Jordan is the main gun so if you're not the main gun then who the fuck do you think you are???
Just throwing this out there - What if, it's Klutch Sports that's bankrolling this No Bull Run bullshit. Anything that diminishes Jordan's legacy benefits who? Think about it.
It’s wild how sad and bitter pippen has become. You’d think he’d have some gratitude. Nobody would know who he was today without MJ. One would assume being the wing man to the greatest player in history would be enough for someone.
Breaks my heart. Until the past few years, I couldn't think about one without the other. When they broke up, I stopped watching NBA and and still haven't watched a single game. What's really crazy is I haven't watched a single game since the 90's and make money in NBA FanDuel and draftkings. Don't even watch it. Of course Jordan didn't when by himself, would Scottie be as well known without? No, he wouldn't. Unfair, yeah a little. Scottie and Mike were the best tandem ever, I don't care what anyone else says, they were the best two ever.
The only other player that they played with is probably the reason they got the last couple titles was Rodman, who is another Scottie has never liked and didn't want him on the team. I don't think they could have done it without him. I never hear Scottie talk about Rodman. They were the best trio as well.
Scottie is an all time great, and people used to forget just how great he was for those Bulls teams. But the more he talks, the more unlikable he becomes. Pippen's work speaks for itself, and the year without Jordan proved he was a top 5 player in the league. His legacy was written, but Scottie didn't like living in the shadow of the GOAT. Sure, it was probably annoying to hear modern fans talk like MJ won all those rings on his own. Hell, I used to get annoyed when people said "Kobe never won without Shaq or Gasol," as if MJ didn't need great players too. But real NBA fans & players know how great Pip was! All he's doing now is making people think he's petty & jealous.
@@jermainegrantham588 I think smart fans know, but you must've seen people try & discredit other stars by saying "they never won without help." Many fans act like MJ was 2011 Dirk, playing with a group of role players & 0 other All-Stars. But Pippen was an MVP candidate the year MJ left. Imagine being so good, you're a top 50-25 NBA player of all time, yet you're forever known as MJ's sidekick. He's obviously resenting how casual fans don't remember him like they do MJ
Its soo disgusting Pippen turned out this way. What more does he want Jordan to say? SAy that Pippen was the best player? No way man. Pippen bumped his head somewhere
It's just money. They thought there was a market for them to go out and bash Jordan (whether true or untrue, it doesn't matter). Scottie soon realized that the room is always more welcoming to hear him praising Jordan (again, whether true or untrue is irrelevant). I think Scottie is just happy being in the conversation at this point. He turned into a Hall of Fame player, in large part because he played with Michael Jordan. Anyone who remembers Scottie's first few seasons will remember that it wasn't a great start.
Scottie wanted more touches on the Rockets. He then wanted out after playing golf with Charles Barkley. Scottie was more selfish other than wanting the last shot during a playoff game against the Knicks. He also wanted more money years after signing a lowball contract.
It appears to me that Scottie doesn’t truly feel that way, but saying Lebron is the best is going to get him attention as well as a way to make money with his “No Bull” tour. Lebron is the biggest political shill of an uneducated athlete that I’ve ever seen, that’s why he’s backed so heavily by the media.
Until game 4 of the '97 Finals, Pippen`s performance was almost as good as Jordan. The media, as usual, wanted to shake things up and said it was time for Pippen to win the Finals MVP instead of Jordan, who had been the reigning Finals MVP. On that fateful Game 5, Jordan came down with flue like symptom, and it really looked like Pippen was going to grab the chance. But as we know, Jordan delivered his famous 'flu game' at Game 5 and carried the team in Game 6 also. Pippen, on the other hand, had poor performances in Games 5 and 6, and his dreams of winning his first Finals MVP were dashed.
If you want to see some of the origin of Scottie’s saltiness, look at the clip after the Bulls beat the Jazz in the 98 finals, While MJ is excited and celebrating, Scottie is less enthused and damn near displeased with winning a 6th championship. Almost as if he wanted them to lose. That clip always stuck with me since I first saw it.
Why tarnish the legacy? That’s what we do in 2024- tear down anything exceptional, beautiful and successful. Sometimes it’s for political gain, sometimes it’s for personal profit. But once you tear down what was great, you cannot put it back together.
I blame Jordan's kid and Pippen's sleazy ex wife. Even if everyone was running her through already, that made it so public and nasty. And Jordan should have squashed it.
"His teammates secondary" - Well duh. Scottie couldn't be that guy as much as he says he was. Neither he, Horace, or the orthers could do it without Jordan. So maybe Jordan is the greatest teammate of all time. and the greatest leader too. In any case, there's no coming back from Scottie saying he deliberately didn't offer condolences to Jordan when his dad passed.
