You asked how Dewey survived, well if you listen closely to the EMT, he says, "it hit some old scar tissue." So supposedly he got stabbed in the same spot as the first time and the scar tissue protected him from worse damage lol. Plus Gale had some character growth, instead of reporting the news at the end she got in the ambulance with Dewey bc she finally realized what was important. Yay! And Sidney is a goddess. One true scream queen.

Killing randy was the true scare. When they didn't show him actually dead just getting stabbed I thought he'd somehow make it but nope they showed it and I was truly heartbroken 😔💔

It's sad but I disagree. One of the core 4 had to go. They just couldn't all survive again. And unfortunately I think Randy was the one that had to go. As much as it sucked.

Some fun facts for you. 1. During CiCi (Sarah Michelle Gellar) scene there's quite a few things happening. She was talking to Selma Blair on the phone before she talked to ghostface and in between. They co-stared in "Cruel Intentions" together and when they were talking on the phone they were talking about Bailey on "Party of Five" which was the tv series that Neve Campbell (Sidney) was doing during all of the three Screams. Also, Jennifer Love Hewitt was also in "Party of Five" as Baileys girlfriend thats who they were talking about regarding to a break up. Which she also co-star in "I know what you did last summer"with SMG. She also turned on a vampire movie as a reference to her Buffy. Sarah Michelle Gellar was very busy in 97 she was doing this, I know what you did last summer and 2nd season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. - Neve was also really busy in the late 90's. Same year Scream 96 came out her and Skeet Ulrich (Billy) did "The Craft" together, she was doing her tv series "Party of Five" and also filmed "Wild Things" with Kevin Bacon and Matt Dillon in 97 the same year Scream 2 came out. Courtney Cox was doing "Friends" the whole time she was doing "Scream, Scream 2 and 3. 2. Here is how Dewey survived: he was stabbed in old previous scar tissue from getting stabbed in the back in the 1st movie. The second reason, is Cotton claimed he tried to help and probably got something to block or soak up the blood and stop the bleeding

She is a legend because of that show in the 90's! and yes also in the 90's you could dress up in movie theaters, it was really fucking common in the states. Thats what made the opening scene so damn brilliant.

Yes that's Sarah Michelle Gellar who plays Daphne in the Scooby-Doo live action movies she's more known playing Buffy in her Buffy The Vampire Slayer TV Show she also in multiple other horror movies.

It literally kills me inside that all the reactors I've seen react to this movie only seem to recognize Sarah Michell Gellar as Daphne from Scooby Doo and not as Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. XD
I've had this theory for as long as I can remember regarding to the car scene. I believe Mickey was knocked out originally but when Sid hit the horn I think it woke him up but pretended to still be knocked out. So that way the girls mostly Sidney were out of the car since he wasn't allowed to actually kill her and for her to be lure to the theater building for Ms. Loomis. Because he got out WAY to quickly after they did and then did like a syke trick making them think they are safe just to turn around and Kill Hallie to mess with Sid mentally and emotionally even more.
Would be a more effective threat to Wes Craven if he was still alive. He passed away a few years ago. Not before finishing this series and starting its TVShow

Scream 2 is my favorite even though I’m well aware that Scream is the superior made film. Love this film so much!! And I love your love/hate relationship with Gale. Or maybe that’s just my feelings and you actually still hate her. Lol I think she has the best development after Sidney. Just look at the final scenes in both movies. You should watch “I know what you did last summer” written by same guy as scream movie. Sarah Michelle geller is in there and so is Freddie prinze jr. who plays Fred in Scooby doo. That’s the movie where they met and became friends they are now married

One of the 1st drafts had Cotton and Sidney kill the killer but their hate for each other overcame them and they kill each other. Also in another og draft, Hallie and Derek were the killers working for Ms Loomis and Mickey gave his necklace to Hallie and he got drunk and tied to a tree and was killed as Sidney tried to untie him
