Great Advice! We all can make contributions to help each other. 28 years in the biz and I've learned from this video. You never stop learning to be creative. Thanks from BCG
I like the way you take your time and explain your ways of doing things. You don't skip and assume that we should know. I been screen printing for 10 years on and off and still learning. I find your video helpful, Thank you and keep up the good work....
Man stop it.... None of your videos are boring! I just started learning how to screen print and vinyl print....... your videos are digital gold. Seriously, you are helping a lot. Peace bro!
Hey bro this video is on point. It really was a help to me, I am a new screen printer. I watch all tour videos and everyone have been very helpful to me. Now that i have setup my platen i am going screen print my first shirt tonight.
Good information, I do pretty much the same registration as yours with one exception. I find it easier to register the top of the shirt collar instead of the bottom, so I would come down three inches and put a mark and pull the top of the shirt collar up to the line to register it for the print and go down five inches for the top of the print. Using the bottom is more of a guess as you can not see the mark once you pull the shirt over it. Not a big deal just maybe a little easier to stay consistent. Thanks for the time you take to make these. I agree if you can't be helpful a comment is not necessary.
SUPER newbie here, just learning (single press) - just found you and this, I hope I can learn more from you. Thank you for the supportive message at the bottom 🤙🏽
Juan I ran across your videos, I’m getting educated and learning the process of screen printing. Thank you so much. This video alone was worth it. Only bad thing I’ll say is, I wish I found this video earlier. Thanks again
Whatever you do, don't stop making videos please. I just found you after a few years of doing shirts very casually. I wish I'd seen you first. You have helped me tremendously. Not just this video, many others you have as well. You explain very well and are non-condescending. You're a natural.
NO ONE else, anywhere I looked, had anything remotely close to this kind of information on how to do registrations/measurements, thank you so much brother, not only for the knowledge, but your genuine commitment to making the community a better place.
Great video, super informative. This was just what I needed to complete my first setup. Great attitude brother, we need more people like you. Thanks, you now have a new subscriber.
thanks, so much!!!! i needed this info, just starting out, been watching several videos out there, but yours, are the most comprehensive to the new screen printers...cheers from El Salvador!
Thank you for this video. You've taken a subject that is easily taken for granted and made a must watch video out of it! Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to shoot and edit the useful videos you upload to RU-vid.

I am not a professional screen printer but I now know how important and helpful this is. Thank you very much for your time and for your very informative tutorial. I appreciate it.
Brotha, I like your videos...I been screen printing for a few years now but I always find your videos useful and I learn something new from you everytime I watch a video from you...keep u the good work ..thumbs up!
I just wanted to tell you i really appreciate you for sharing such great information in all your videos ive seen hundreds of videos but yours by far has taught me more than any other... i think other people just want to further thier own agenda and plug sponsers. When you do whats right and im grateful thank you.
Of course... question by chance do you know where i can get 100% cotton hoodies, longsleeves and t shirts at a good price in bulk. Preferably American or mexican made? Not mandatory but it would be nice to keep money close to home...
I love the message at the end! If someone thinks they've arrived and the learning stage is over, they're slippin and trippin. Pursuing better ways to hone your craft is the path to be on. Printing veterans can learn a lot from going back to basics and rethinking what they do and why they do it.
you prolly dont care but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the password. I would love any tips you can offer me!
@Darius Princeton Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hey awesome tips. I think it would be beneficial for you if you put in the title Crest print or use Crest print in the description and tags So people can find this video Because it has great tips on the Crest printing Which I found truly helpful . I just think youll will get more views and comments if you do that
I am new to screen printing and just came across your videos tonight. Thank you for explaining this so well. I knew to come down 4" and over 2-4" but did not know how to align the print right there. Is it on the line? Under it? Over.. You explained it very well. Thank You! I do have one-maybe 2 questions. Do you have a video on making the actual registration marks? I assume the marks are 3/4" above the design to align with your mark on the board? When you place the print film on the screen to burn it, how far down from the aluminum do you bring it? 4 inches??
I'm about to start printing and had a couple of questions about shirt size vs print size, especially when it comes to a vertical print. Let's say I wanted to print a word vertically down the pocket side of a shirt. Would you have to get a larger / longer pallet for a 7X and would I have to create bigger lettered screens for that size?
Great video I allways wondered how people set up there lines... I have a question for you when you first started how did you get business besides the friends and family
thank you for watching!!! I don't have ANY friends or family as customers! first mistake in business is to get your friends and family as customers... why? well they are just NOT honest enough or they will try to bring you down!!! if you know what I mean, so I just went out and sold my work to complete strangers and till today I do not target my close friends or family.
Excellent video!!! My job today to do!! First time to print with my students. Have you made a video about making the pallet level so when the screen comes down the space between the screen and pallet is small? I hope that makes sense.
If you use your system for chest prints and load a 7x or even a 3x the print will be FAR too close to the center of the shirt. I've been doing this for 30 years. The chest print location will VARY according to the size of the shirt. Just being part of the solution.
Question...for your front designs the registration marks are 3/4” above the design, how high would the registration marks be for the back? Do you still want the design in the same location on front and back?
