100% agreed! Kanade's VA is doing such a great job, I am in awe of how good the voice lets the character shine. I've been dying for chapter 3 especially getting voiced, but now I'm even more excited. The whole VA team is giving it their all for this passion project and I am ever so hyped.

its actually because linuj didn't have a good idea for her story yet if i remember right, he came up with kanade's whole shtick after seeing v3's trial 3

kinda dumb in the first trial? lmao WHERE? She was among the ones who helped the most (though she wasn't as strong as in the second one, but it was more because everyone was working well, unlike in the second trial). And though Linuj gave an explanation apparently as the other person said, you are totally right, that was briefly indicated in the third trial.

@@eric7798 she was one of the loudest ones but not one of the helpful ones, she constantly misled everyone by being quick to accuse spoilers below . . . . . i think that kanade was so useful in the 2nd trial because as a serial killer she knew how the secret message worked. she probably just wasnt as invested in the first case. edit: i also headcanon that while she was smart, the reason her murders were effective were because of the stupidity of the police. kanade was perfectly capable of getting a murder case wrong and genuinely thought yoruko was a killer

As a member of the staff team, trust me when I say that inconsistency always bothered me. As of this chapter onwards, we've amended it so that the characters are (approximately) their correct heights in addition to their most recent sprite. Chapter 1 also has this change applied to it.

@@onemegabyteplays5870 I used to be known as the CEO of this ship, and I was hyperfixated on it, but basically it's not like Emma wanted to kill Kokoro. She regretted it more than anything, and it's confirmed that were they to meet in the afterlife, Kokoro would forgive Emma, and Emma would apologise profusely. Emma was originally only nice to Kokoro to keep watch of her, as Mikado advised. Kokoro herself, who we know can read people, states that she could tell even beyond Emma's acting prowess that Emma did care at least somewhat for her. Towards the later parts of her life, Kokoro even starts blushing at Emma's small teasing comments, and she abandoned her logic to try and have a heart to heart with her. Now, I don't know if you know about chapter 0, so if you don't, spoilers ahead but: It's canon that if Kokoro had had someone like Emma when she was younger, she wouldn't have turned into the horrible, immoral person she did. So, that's why they get shipped.

@@samthedystopianrat1945 SPOILERS Honestly, considering all this facts, the only reason why I don't ship them is bc of the age gap (I'm pretty sure Kokoro in real world is in her 40's, while Emma is teenager, correct me if I'm wrong)

I can definitely see how that would make someone uncomfortable, but I was into the ship long before any of that stuff was out, and unaware. I only really ship the sim versions, it's like a hypothetical, had they been the same age
