Border Collies can make very good search and rescue dogs, too. They, too, have a good sense of smell, and they are known as the most intelligent dog in the world. So with that said, if someone developed a purebred that is a mix between the border collie and the bloodhound, that would make the ULTIMATE search and rescue dog breed! 😃

Holla! Have you ever tried - Carkerakita Hound Master (do a google search)? Ive heard some awesome things about it from my work buddy who got excellent obedience achievements with their puppy.
