Greetings from Moniaive. Some of the n75 valves have just 2 ports on them. The vent is under the end cap of the valve with a little filter built into it instead of into the inlet pipework like this one. The vent is only there to bleed off vacuum after the valve has actuated. The 2 port style sometimes gets blocked from rubbish getting into the little filter and gives an under/over boost condition. Im guessing that's why they have switched to the vent in the inlet. Glad you got it sorted!
ah the old switcharo.... hahahahaaha.. great when you have spent two days at a car and one of the guys walks past and asks if you have checked something so easy and you have a lightbulb moment ...hahahaha... least it wasnt buired behind a drive or inlet manifold somewhere....
