People forget Falcons played the hardest schedule this year, and still scored the highest, and landed #2 seed. While this defense gives up yards, it does create turnovers, thus more opportunities for the O. Kyle Shanahan is the best playcaller in the game, and Matt Ryan finally has the O mastered. Thanks for bringing that up. Everyone seems to consciously forget that our defense was not fully healthy. Losing Earl Thomas is a big loss that should not be ignore, but all it means is that the corners and Kam Chancellor can not play as carefree as do when Earl is in the lineup. Also our communication has to be much better.

Russ B. Well, keep in mind that with ET3 gone, it changes the entire coverage scheme which could benefit Matt Ryan. Plus, Seattle is just a different team on the road than they are at home.

I have no horse in this race but when the Seahawks played the Falcons earlier this year, Sherman did follow Julio for parts of the game and Julio really didn't do much when covered by Richard. He got his big gains and touchdown when guarded by other players.

I love how everyone talks about Sherman's PI, but no one talks about Julio's offensive PI. That play in itself didn't lose the game, it was the Falcon's ineffectiveness through the first two quarters and playing catch up that made them lose.

As a Falcons fan... I expect us to win, but as much as its easy for me to say that Julio v. Sherman might of cost us the game in week 6 vs. Seattle in Seattle, but in the 2nd half we played differently when Bennett got hurt & was out of the game & that made defending Avril (who was causing problems early) so defend-able, but his injury impacted the game in the long run.

Rob H I've been listening to Skip since I was a kid. I know almost all of his ways, strategies, hates, likes, etc. when it comes to his TV personality. lol. But I just didn't trust the Falcons enough yet, and also i thought their mediocre defense would let them down a little. As far as Seattle goes, they're done, they just aren't the same.

I'd put my money on Seattle. Been watching football for a long while now. As you experienced football fans know by now, Seattle has been in BIG games with HUGE moments time and time again. Their proven. They know what it takes to win. Russel Wilson in the playoffs is just Mr. big time clutch play maker. Atlanta on the other hand have "Matty Ice" in which I don't know why they call him "Ice" because he hasn't been so icy in the playoffs. 1-4. I've never seen him prove that he can put the team on his back in huge pressure filled playoff moments and lead his team to victory. Russel Wilson has.

seahawks are all about the big plays. They have Playmakers all over the roster on both sides off the ball. If they manage to stay in touch with Atlanta to the middle of the 4th I take Seattle every day off the week. The line was blocking also fine against the Lions at least for the run. This one is gonna be close and also because of that I take the the hawks for the W.

Connor Smith dual threat yeah but Ryan has been heavily leaned upon by his franchise something Wilson hasn't had to do. Ryan is more accurate he has the most completions by a QB in the year that he's in more yards and higher TDs per season ratio. Seahawks fan here. It will HOPEFULLY be close. And if it is then none of that anyone is saying will matter. Do you know why?
