I came up with a idea for what happened to Luigi during all of this: Luigi, Mario’s favorite sidekick, was kicked to the sidewalk after joining in a protest under the alias “Mr. L”. While his girlfriend, Daisy was assassinated in an attempt to shatter Luigi’s hopes completely. It’s unknown where he is now but reports say that he might’ve fled to Sarasaland to avoid a similar fate to Daisy.

@@randomcommenter2504 It did, but Sonic is still alive. Remember, Sonic is recounting the events of Tails' murders and the fallout, meaning that he is still alive after this and what Tails did. The only clue to this being before Mario's punishment here is that he murdered Shadow who was introduced on a Dreamcast title, but after Tails' disappearance, they show Blaze and Silver with the "other sidekicks" characters introduced after the Dreamcast era. So Tails probably murdered Knuckles and Shadow got caught, and then after Tails' disappearance, Sonic was forced into a deal with Mario, survived the fallout of that deal, and then kept on keeping on. Dark.

Looking at bowser he lost the spikes on his shell. Which shows peach isn't the only one who got a...Ahem...Surgery. All his people being turned to entertainment slaves. Children being squashed. Would you deny him? Knowing the consequences will most likely be extreme pain or death? Or worse...His family will be the target?

Might I just say, I absolutely love the artstyle that was used in this animation, and I really love the expressions on Sonic's face. The animation is so cartoony, yet the subject matter is so dark. I love it. Zeurel did an awesome job on this one. And so did the voice actors, and everyone involved.

I don't know about everything else, but I can honestly see Mario being a Godfather-like figure behind the scenes when it comes to marketing. Especially with Sega and Nintendo's intense past rivalry and Nintendo's...recent policies regarding things as small as re-uploading music, or fan-made romhacks. Like, he's still a pretty genuine guy, but he cares more about coins than he'd ever admit. That's his fatal flaw.

This is the beginning of the secret history series, this is amazing, the fact Mario is the real villain in the series, especially knowing that he does literally have to stomp BABY TURTLES, it’s scary what he did to Peach. Her face looks completely different from before, and then the toads rioting is just another great piece, the voice acting the animation the detailing to it is just so well done, it makes me feel sad that Luigi wasn’t in the video, even then..this was a masterpiece.
