Sbdc have dia shield tag but I wanna know that Inter model 62 mas also have dia shield or not? Coz on their tag it didn't have dia shield tag.

Do the boxes differ between jdm and international release?

Perfect timing.. somebody in one of the watch groups on Facebook said the person he sold his watch to was not the real JDM model.. Sometimes there are A LITTLE more difference between JDM and "International", like my SARY087 and I forget what the "International" designamtion is, but it's just a strap change, blue smooth versus blue crocodile grain.. and possibly the tags like you said... oh, and they have different limited edition quantities, JDM being half of the "International". The difference are so superficial, it's ridiculous sometimes how much people gripe over them. Thanks for schooling us on one of the more popular newer Seiko dive models.

Hi, nice review for all, just quick question regarding SBDC053 OR SPB053, any problem with the movement issue? I saw a video on youtube SBDC055, there is +1 sec a day and will gain for +7 minutes a week, is it the same movement and machine with SBDC053 or any type for SBDC05x? Thank you.

Hello. I just saw a limited edition (of 2018 pcs made) with a sort of turquoise green dial in an authorized seiko dealer with the same bracelet as the SBDC051. Sells for just under $1000. Your thoughts on that please.

I have yet to find a new Seiko Turtle with good alignment with the chapter ring. All three, in three different stores, had alignment off. Also, the bezel alignment was off too (less of a concern for me at this price). WTF Seiko?

No Malaysian or Chinese parts in either? I’ve heard that some of the models for the international markets will sometimes have non-Japanese components. Can you please confirm that these are both identical internally as well as externally? Thanks for your great videos and information!

Knowing the Japanese keep the best for themselves domestically, I'm guessing the SBDC053's are more accurate in the timegrapher than the internationally released SPB053.

Two different model numbers for the same watch, that's stupid.
