The misaligned watch in this video has been replaced by a new unit with better alignment. Follow me on instagram @watchjunkie99 to see some of my collection including the replacement unit I got. Cheers👍🏻
You’re welcome😊, I opted for the white dial as it might become the sought-after model. I also like the contrast of that gold second hand and “divers 200m” on the white dial, it’s really something😊.
It's a bit of a pain how the end links don't fit the case flush on these newer models. Guess they changed the case shape a bit but didn't adjust the end links. Good to see your chapter ring isn't aligned either 👍🏻
Actually it is a different case, it is a totally redesigned case compared to the old samurai’s case. The old bracelet will still fit though but with a bit of wobble. Yes, the unit in this video have a misaligned chapter ring. I returned it and got a replacement with better alignment, pics are on my IG watchjunkie99. Thanks for stopping by and congratz on your king sami😊
@@watchjunkie1251 Thanks for video and information about bracelet..i also bought king samurai save the ocean dark manta with rubber strap and i am looking for matal bracelet. There is bracelet like yours with A37 written on the end link which is for older samurai like yours padi and new one with a47 letters which suppose to fit samurais after great white shark and also king with changed case but it also wobbles on king ones..So i don't know which one to oreder.
SC LEE true. Its just a bummer to see a high-spec samurai with a big imperfection. Good thing the retailer is cool and prompt to pick-up the misaligned one an brought a replacement right away to my doorsteps with no extra cost👍🏻. An extra service for the extra cost I paid for this version 👍🏻👍🏻. I’m happy now😁
I mentioned at 0:19 the reference number is SRPE37K1. I case you’re not familiar with the “K’s” reference number, they are made in Malaysia. For this model with the “made in japan” markings on the dial, its reference number is SRPE37, no K1 or J1 at the end. This is a well known information in the world of Seiko horology. Btw, the J1’s were the older JDM reference number. I think the newer JDM Seiko models starts with SBD or SPB reference numbers.
