@@___meph___4547 totally agree, boss difficulty depends on the player, I had no problems until owl father and isshin the sword saint (and gyoubou but that's cus he's the first boss)

If you perfectly guard it (deflect) and do the lightning reversal you don’t take damage.

That’s just a cheesy way to do it, deflecting mid air and sending it back won’t cause damage to you either

TheTimestopper it can cause a damage if you did a reversal on it.

Uh not exactly. It's true,Ongbal is perfevtly use the Mist Raven, but the game tell us, "jump up in the moment of Lightning strike, click LMB to reversal the lightning, and I can easy send back perform jumping. Just I can't use the Raven perfect :(

The lightning still does a little damage even if you reverse it perfectly but you might not notice it

sorry but no. the 2 things you need to be good at sekiro is 1 perfect parrying and 2 knowing movesets. other than that the game isnt hard in the slightest. i mean yea it takes a god level of practice to do but thats just practice. only thing that makes these guys difference than us is the wiliness to put said hours into practice. unless you have a disorder that makes it so you cant focus or use a keyboard or control like a normal person then literally every player can do this with time. your just praising someone who practiced for a stupidly long time.

Because poison isnt affected by your attack power, not necessary to poison him if you have enough attack power

감사합니다 ㅎㅎ 2,3페이즈 광역기도 회피가 가능한데 1페와는 다르게 회피후 공격 도중에 가끔 슈아로 씹고 들어오는 패턴이 나와서 그냥 깔끔하게 패링하는걸로 통일 했습니다

How can you do that mist raven reversal?

@@Frumsl84 if you mist raven without inputting any direction, you teleport above head, and from there you will catch the lightning and then r1 (or lmb on computer) to reverse the lightning back

I've gone and done it and it's worth doing. Some bosses are annoying though, or have some... oversights by the developers. It gets really good lategame, though, those bosses have so much work put into them to make them fair but challenging.

notable is Isshin Ashina in my case. He wrecked me no less than 50 times but now deflecting his ashina cross and one mind is fucking satisfying. I will be playing this for a ling time

I know this is a month later, but sabimaru might me for more potential damage potential sense his base attack is 1 so I'm assuming keeping him poison while partying and attack his the best choice possible to be efficient without running the timing of the parrying as posture can be a beneficial thing to have if you'll looking to parry and attack back.

Isshin's Jump Away Slash pattern does not come out continuously, but at regular intervals(usually). Keep that in mind and never spam Sabimaru.

옹발이 Ok, thank you. One last question: in Isshin’s first phase, after he deflects you, how do you know if he’s going to do the elbow jab or the underhand sword swipe? Is there a way to predict which one he’s going to do? The reaction time is too small for me and I often end up getting my posture broken by his elbow

Well.. that's not that difficult for me to react. Parry timing is not very different.

feels like alot of people are forgetting that he probably started just like any other, the real difference is the learning curve and how good you are at breaking your own patterns. muscle memory is a bitch sometimes. Honestly, beating the game in itself is not hard, beating the game with every tool available to you however, is actually hard.. Because of all the different effects and animations you're forced to catalogue while simply fighting ordinary enemies. or maybe its just me, who's a big scrub and cant get used to anything else than timing my r1 and l1? :) regardless, ongbal is surely one of the best sekiro players i've ever seen, surely not just the best on youtube, but one of the, if not the best player in the world, afaict. other people doing "challenge videoes" are simply laming it out, they take no risks, they're hardly playing the game, the game is playing them..... Sekiro is not a hard game if you never take any risks... i was litterally flying through my first playthrough... the hardest part was knowing where to go...

Also after the sekiro update release I beat him with no hits taken so that’s some progress

There is something wrong with his posture bar...his posture bar increases but doesn’t break...fishy!!!!
