NEVER use these techniques before your surgeon gives you specific permission to begin more intense massage. Use CAUTION when massaging over incisions and ADM /mesh. ONLY use these techniques after you have had an in person session with a massage professional and they have used similar techniques with good results. Intense massage too soon after surgery may affect your surgical results and cause pain, bruising, injury, flulike symptoms and wound dehiscence.
Surgeons may allow more intense massage 3-6 weeks after explant total capsulectomy for breast implant illness.
