It's another week at the Luxury Pawn Shop. James decided to throw an employee of the month competition to boost morale. Claudia, the designer handbag expert, examines a gold and silver bag that belonged to Sharon Osbourne. An impressive collection of Iranian diamond and sapphire jewellery is brought in, with the hopes of making enough money to renovate a villa in Greece, and this customer is shocked when she finds out how much it's worth.

Everyone but the handbag lady come off as having great integrity. The bag lady however either just doesn’t know her business or has no integrity. She is always offering insulting low prices for bags that could fetch five times or more then the price she offers. I hope she doesn’t hurt the reputation of the business.

One of the major reasons why I am hooked on this programme is Ian the jewellery expert. I remember watching him on one of the antiques programmes on tv, doing valuations on jewellery, which is his expertise. I love his personality and his character is out there. Love ❤️ him ❤️

I just saw the bag online for between $500 and $800. I am sure they did the online research to see what was for sale online before they gave her a price. They have to make a profit or they will not be in business. I think she got a fair price. The fact that Sharon Osborne owned it is an interesting talking point, but I doubt that it adds much to the value. The value was in the fact that the bag made money at auction and went to charity to begin with. The young lady made a profit of $150 over her original auction bid and there is probably still some profit for the pawn shop if the right buyer comes along.

SHARK !!! 🦈- Does anyone not get, why he/they would ask "what price did you have in mind?" or "have you got any idea what you want for it?" THAT MAKES NO BLOODY DIFFERENCE. it is just to suss out what THEY can make on it. Gold only really has scrap value. So, when you blurt out your idea of a value, they will retort back with 80% less. They are not your friend. If you can be finessed and charmed, more fool you. They are there to make as much money as they can out of you. Let THEM tell you the market/anticipated value, which has nothing to do with your sentimental value.
