Dude, this content is amazing. Great narrative, great videography and great voice over. Really appreciate the blend of adventure, tech and personality that you weave into your videos. Please keep going so I can keep looking forward to watching and sharing your videos
These videos have inspired me so much I recently built out my dream commuter / gravel bike and have been riding to work a few times a week. It has changed my life in such a positive way. Thank you and keep it up! Cheers from Southern California.
I found your channel because of the bicycles (I love Rivendells also), but I continue to watch because I dig your vibe, seeing your city from your perspective on a bike, the awesome food, and coffee. You’ve got a good thing going. Keep it up!
Love your videos, they are calming and inspiring at the same time. We enjoy going out for a ride and stopping for a coffee or snack too. Enjoyed your bike check in this video. Keep up the great work, thanks for sharing.
This channel has some serious soul. The soundtrack is soooo groovy! Can we get playlist please? Btw your narration skills are ridiculously heartfelt and a true gift. Your authenticity hella comes out in your videos. So grateful for you and this channel. A highlight of my week for sure!
I got the first video of yours recommended to me the other week and now every other day I sit down when I'm feeling a bit stressed and have a watch. My bike is not great and I often consider that the ride to and from uni (especially in Japanese summer) is one of the most frustrating parts of my day because I get all sweaty, but you've encouraged me to try and take it slow and enjoy the scenery and the ride for what it is! I definitely think that I will be on the hunt for a nicer bike to make the ride a bit more enjoyable though - one that is beautiful and not so slow up hills. Thank you for always having such positive vibes and energy in your videos, you always make my day feel calmer and more collected. can't wait for more!
I absolutely love the channel. As a fellow cyclist, coffee, slow living enthusiast, this feels right at home. I love the documentary/journal-inspired dialogue. Definitely a great channel to relax to.
Hi! I've been watching your videos and instagram posts for a decent while - I love the relaxed voiceover and the chill vibes. Being a native Korean living in Tokyo, your videos really hit this very specific emotional junction of nostalgia and fun for me, and it makes me come back to sit down with a cup of coffee and watch some of your videos again whenever I miss home. Makes me really want to try and visit some of the places you mentioned in your videos - maybe I should start off with Light Up Coffee in Shimokita. Cheers!
Absolutely love these videos! It feels like seeing your mate in a coffee shop during lunch break, have a quick chat then go about doing your own thing. I want more!
My GF and I watch these videos from NYC. We bike all over the city for coffee just like you in Korea. One day we'd like to visit and bike there too. Thanks for the fun vids.
My boyfriend and I found your channel last week and thank goodness we did. The very leisurely, warm, and curious perspective you bring to these cycling videos is a balm for a busy workweek in Seattle. Thank you for sharing :)
Your videos are so relaxing and gentle. I watch them and I am immediately more soothed and peaceful. I hope you will make many more videos like these to take us on little tours to discover the beauty of everyday life and the exploration of simple things like a bike ride
Hi. The more I see of your videos, the more I want to visit S.Korea. It looks like such a bike friendly place and a lot more cosmopolitan than I realised, without being spoiled.
Actually I went there, the cafe on this video today and it was so cozy, bustle, and active! Thank you for recommending this wonderful cafe, and hope to see you one day on bicycle road. Classic and Vintage forever!
I love to see those little insights into a diffrent "world"/culture/city explored by bike. Nice to see your Stammtisch, a lovley place. 🤗 You absolutely qualify for the clean bowl club 👍😁 ... You work so hard for it. 😉Keep it up! Cheers from Munich, Germany Ben
Here in San Francisco we had a very charming bicycle cafe called "Mojo Bicycle Cafe" converted from an old Victorian house. The back half of the cafe was a functioning bike shop with mechanic and chalk full of city bikes. The front half of the store and side walk was a bicycle cafe. Later on they converted the front to cafe by day and live music pub by night. It had a small charming Victorian style garden in the back of the house you can hang out in as well. The pictures on Yelp doesn't do it any justice. i was sad when I found out it permanently closed.
Hell yeah, so nice to see Montréal cycling represented here!!! Got my girlfriend into your videos, and now she’s been wanting a proper commuting bike like the Hog’s Back. Thank you for inspiring more people to get out and ride! Merci beaucoup!
Bike checks are always interesting to watch. I had to go back to your Clem Jr. check video to watch again, love that bike. Thanks for letting us join you for a ride, good eats and of course a coffee or two.
Love seeing Bassi get so much love! I’m from Ottawa, Canada (near Montreal) and think these are some of the best bikes to come out of our neck of the woods. Great video as always, happy riding! 👋
Greetings from Buffalo, New York! Your videos offer a truly unique perspective of life in Seoul and surrounding areas, greatly appreciated! We live in car culture but bike local trails and bring bikes on camping trips. Happy biking!
Love your channel--always some really cool bike action! That bartender's bike is awesome! Will be adding Bassi to my list of potential steel frames for my next bike.
I usually forgo watching your videos until there are maybe 2 or 3 I can watch in a row. Some experimentation in self control I suppose. I love your videos and your general vibe ✌🏼❤from Austin, TX in america
Of all the channels I subscribe to, I look forward to this one the most every week. I don't think it's because my family is Korean, or that I have Rivendell and Brompton bikes like you. I think it's that I wish I had as many excuses to ride my bikes as you do. Where I live, bikeability is so-so, I don't drink coffee, I like to cook so I eat-in a lot, and I watch my calorie intake haha. I commute to work by bike and do the occasional grocery run if the list happens to fit in my panniers. So all this to say, thanks for letting me live vicariously through this channel!
Who knew there are so many ways to have your coffee. Mad. I love my coffee and spend my life disappointed. So many coffee shops promise the world and are ugh! In Oban last year I happened upon a tiny cafe. The coffee was superb; I allowed myself two. The sandwich and pastry were the same quality. Watching the guy, who owned/ran the place, make the coffee was an event in itself. Love the vibe of your videos and no Lycra.🥳
Hello, lots of support from Australia. I am from a little town called Drysdale in Victoria, my partner and I are hoping to move to Melbourne soon and your channel is making me so excited to have my own little adventures, riding to uni, getting coffee, discovering new areas. In fact, i recently just got a second hand gravel bike on facebook MP just for that reason, hoping to do it up a bit and make it my commuter. You are such calm voice to hear and relax to. I really enjoy your videos! From Ethan and my partner Ella!
Always love the visits to Hitch. Would love to have a local shop like that (handmade bike stuff + coffee) here. The items I got from them are really well made. My city bike build has a couple of successful beer runs under its belt now.
Happened to run in to this video by recommendation, but I really like the mood tones of your videos. Subscription done. 😄 I never been to HBC but interests me a lot. Looking forward to go there soon. Hope to run in to you in Bike path of Han river if there's chance. Safe ride out there.
Just found your videos, thoroughly enjoying them, clean bowl club is fine with a little left, maybe a clean bowl club t shirt and hat collaboration with hitch would be nice.
It's awesome to see someone passionate about bikes and getting a glimpse of life in South Korea. I'm actually thinking about getting an e-bike or even just a step-through bike. Anyways, I hope you had a great day!
Greetings from New Zealand, another nice video that makes me want to see Korea oh and the food 😮, I'd watch your videos repeatedly until my wife asked "are you a fan of him" 😅
Appreciate the Hog in Kakhi. Going to assume those were for me ;) Thanks for another great video my man! Also rocking a Sugarloaf on mine. Do you happen to have an opinion of Bivo v Klean Kanteen with Sports top? And honestly that shout out melted my soul. Sent it off to the Bassi crew.
I suggest you give immersion iced coffee a try. James Hoffman made a video recently on making iced coffee with a hario switch, and it was so delicious :)
Ein schönes Stammlokal. Da waren wir auch noch nicht. Hoffentlich gab es keinen Ärger als die harte Brompton Bikergang aufgetaucht ist. Diese Typen sind troublemaker 😝😝😂😂😂
Thanks for highlighting such cool places to go in Seoul! Just wondering, do you have any recommendations for multi-day bike rental shops in Seoul. Say if I wanted to rent a bike for a week or so?
@@probablyriding excellent, I’ll check them out. Thanks! I’m based in Seattle and if you ever want help planning a bike trip over there, please let me know! The San Juan islands in particular are beautiful in the summer and make for an excellent bike trip.
