Lol! To each his own 😊💕🙏🏾 I just wish everyone a happy loc journey... one that speaks to who they truly are. Every walk is different, unique, and special as far as I’m concerned. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing your brother's progress with us. This video makes me proud of my locs. Your stylist is so gifted. I learned something new today. Your brother looks like your twin here. This is the proof for anyone who doesn't believe locs are versatile. Keep us posted on your brother's journey.
This was a great video! I have a client who wants to transition into traditional locs and I was wondering how I was going to execute it! You saved me with this video! Thank you! ❤️
I have freeform locs and planning to get them separated into traditional locs. This was very helpful & prepared me for what to expect. I was worried about the pain aspect lol
As a 21 year old white woman with straight ass hair, I knew that locs have an amount of care that comes with having them BUT I did not know that there was such a pivotal transition that some locs go through. Thank you for posting!!!
Highly skilled, knowlegeable about her trade. Might I compliment the loctician on her appearance also. It added to the natural beauty of this whole process.

I love this! Beautiful hair! I am so doing this to my son's hair once he is big enough to sit for a longer period of time. He is a toddler with a beautiful free form starter loc fro lol 🤗💛🥰 Thank you so much for sharing!!

Ms. Gloria did absolutely amazing!! Im glad i found this video. Im trying to change my free parts to triangle parts for my locs because i dont want to start over
This made me feel better. I started my locs as tradition but then kinda transitioned to free form. I was afraid I’d have to cut my hair off & start over. Thanks for this reassuring video!! Btw can you tell me where you get your instrumentals from?
Wow! I cringed as I watched her use the scissors to skillfully separate those locs, but I guess that's the process if you want that beautiful transformation lol. Great job!! Your loctitian really knows her work.
Lol!!! Thanks so much 😊💕 I’ll pass along your compliment to her! I joked with my little brother that if I had those scissors, his hair would’ve been butchered lol she did so well!
I've been wanting to have dreads since I was a child but my hair wasn't well taken care of because it was super nappy. But I've been growing locs since March of 2020 when the pandemic kicked in so I decided to grow it out and I made a better way to change my mindset.
@@AlexisHarris Right! I've been following a lot of genuine and Positive youtubers from 0 to 100 real quick when I didn't have that love and support! But now I got about 130 subs til this day ☺️
She did an outstanding job on his locs. He looks like you is this the Brother that suggested that you start locs. Nice having locs with family members. Your Mom and your Brother. Enjoy and have a great week.
You are one of my favorite people to hear from every week!!!!! Always so pleasant 😍😊 no, this isn’t the brother that suggested I start locs. My second oldest brother is the one so maybe I can introduce him one day 💖💖💖
This video was great I currently have semi free form locs and was looking to get switched to traditional but wasn’t sure if it was possible , I need to hit her up
Yo brothers freeforms are FIRE!!! Did he just do no manipulation freeforms just wash , or did he use a sponge or towel ? Kinda want mine to turn out in this sort of way
Awww thanks!!! He just washed and put some loc gel in 🙏🏾💖 here’s the video where he talks about them a bit ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-llZLStKx_qQ.html
You mean from traditional freeform locks originally worn by people of the rastafarian belief, to funky dreads. Good job though, turned out really neat.
Hey Brandon! So happy you’re considering locs 😊💕 I’m loving the loc’d lifestyle. It’s so easy and so authentic to who I am! Keep me posted on your journey when you get started! Thanks for being here
That’s a great question! He actually never gave me a specific reason but he said it was one of the best decisions he ever made 💖🙏🏾 he’s so happy with the outcome. I’ll ask him for specifics today!
I see you actually respond to your comments!! I got a question. I have about 9 months left in the military and by the the time I get out I will have about 15 months of Afro that I will loc. I know my hair will shrink but will my locs be the same length as someone who started the loc process months before me but with the same amount of hair as me?
Awww, first of all, thank you for your service!!! I grew up in a military family and I am forever grateful for people like you. Great question! That’s kinda hard to answer because everyone’s hair is so different. If someone started months before you but has the same length of hair as yours, theirs would likely be longer because their hair has had time to mature a bit. In the early stages, locs shrink a lot but as they mature they drop (weigh more) and have more length. I hope this answers your question but if it doesn’t, let me know and I’ll try again lol 😉 thanks for being here!
Good question! I’ll definitely ask. We trust her expertise though. My bro is happy and his hair is healthy 😊💕 everyone’s on a journey of their own. Blessings to you on yours 🙏🏾
Aw, I wish she would’ve kept the extra “arms & legs” on some of the locs to add some personality & individuality to his manicured locs. It looks like your brother had starter locs & then stopped getting retwists, so it was a lot easier to make them manicured since they already technically were. I don’t want people that freeformed from the beginning & thinking about going manicured to think the transition is THIS simple lol
I would really love to do the same with my hair, and possibly done by the same person. Do you know who I can get in contact with to get this going or where I can start to get a consultation or appointment?
