Serato DJ no sound output & it's solution 

8 years ago , you posted this video and people, including myself, had this same issue. Thanks to you I found the solution I am enjoying my DJ mixer like a kid with a new toy.

Here near the end of 2022, December 22 to be exact and this happened to me! Such a simple fix and I feel blind since I went to these settings and didn't notice that it was muted! Bless you kind sir!

Thx for this video. I'm not facing the same exact issue you had but still having an audio issue on Serato. It's nice to know that the issue was with the software and not the hardware. Glad you found the solution!

I want to thank you for the video. I had the same issue. My issue was the same as yours. I had to disable and enable the device in sounds in order to work....cheers!!

Thanx for your video, Mufassir ! ..and one imprortant detail - all the devices, which works with usb port must be disconnected except your Serato hardware (i mean dj controller). I have no sound because radio mouse receiver was conected to usb port of my laptop

hey great video, i purchased the DDJ-SR (Pioneer) a few days ago and I have a windows 7 intel i-7 laptop. I changed the audio playback and recording settings to what you said in this video however on my controller the mast channel level indicator shows no audio signal. When I press the roll button on my beatpad on the deck the serato DJ software recognises that but does not output any sound. I have checked multiple times that I have the default speaker setting on correctly without any muted buttons and It hasn't fixed anything. Im guessing it has something to do with the master 2 line out into my speakers but im unsure on what to do next? If you could help it would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!

Thankfully their newest update fixed this. And now has the option inside to set it to that speaker so it works.

hello had no problem with my mac but now with windows i cant play windows 10 sounds through my ddj-sb2 controller. works in serato but id like for it to work for all sounds too.. got the latest driver on pionneers official site. what else can i do ?

Yes it has happen to me, do u have to wait for it to happen to go into the settings u showed to fix the problem or can I set it up after I have restarted the serato and change the options

I just purchased a ddj-1000 a few days ago downloaded serato dj pro but I can't seem to get my drag wheel icon to appear. I have tried your method but still nothing can someone assist me please? Do I need to pay for serato dj pro? In the product area I deactivated everything went into plan subscribed to one but still nothing? So hard to set up but once your in so easy to use. Virtual DJ is so much more user friendly, but needs a serious upgrade.

How do I do this on Windows 10? (Ugh I'm grateful I have a new laptop but no lie this thing has been NOTHING but a pain in the ass about audio all the time)

I have this issue with my mac except im getting a very faint sound through the speakers but no sound through the headphones cues at all and also my audio/midi panel is locked so all my levels are down on the pioneer controller but I can actually use the levels at all! please help!!!

which software do you have, I downloaded dj Serato pro but I don't know if Numark supports that .. also maybe because of it my Numark nv2 is not reading it. before I update serrate djpro it was freezing..

I did all of it as you said. but when I come for levels (03:10) on my was is not mutet. i try but volume all the way up. allso mutet again and unmutet , stil no sound from laptop -i have Mixtrack Platinum

How about this any advice i’m using my Numark mix track pro two when I play on deck a it works when I load a song on deck b it will not play but song will appear as is playing when I disconnect numark it plays no problem on my computer both deck a and Deck b
