Good video. You have made it clear that you better have your big boy pants on when one goes to buy, lease, or fractional share a business aircraft. I like the way you explain the numbers. . . . Shows how complex the thought process ought to be to get an acceptable result.

how i look at the overall value is, how much does it save me over the 5 year period of the term, then how much could i get back after the term. So if I am always flying with 9 passengers for 200 hrs per year, how much did i save from paying for each ticket per year, then how much i get back after resale. If I end up spending less in the 5 years, then yup, great deal! As a business, this should be a written off expense anyway, they are called business/executive jets for a reason, not PERSONAL jets. So even personal, you supposed to write that off as an expense anyway. Plus the convenience value can not be calculated!

The fractionals are all flying like crazy. This week I flew several flights for jet card owners and 1/4 share owners. They told me that there are 4,000 people on the waiting list for jet cards and if you want a 1/4 share you must put down a 50% deposit on your share price and wait 3 years (with no access to fleet aircraft)..... Current share owners are often enticed to downgrade aircraft, something never done in "normal" times.
