Hard to imagine this was recorded outside on a street corner with traffic going by. Kudos to the band and the recording engineer/sound editor. Amazing. Too many YT music videos are of great musicians but terrible sound quality in live club or stage performances, so it is amazing this sounds so good. This is a real treat. What fun.
That's how you do it! Recording/performing, all the same thing. Rehearsed until it's done, probably got this in one take! Liked & Subscribed, you guys are amazing.
Wow! That singer reminds me a lot of the first time I remember seeing Eddie Vedder - holy shit I just got some serious goosebumps. These guys are living in the music like no one I've seen.
Well I"m impressed. As someone with a rather deep voice I was rather surprised that the same lad who began the chorus with a low "Take on ..." was the same person who could finish with that falsetto at the end of the chorus. Very entertaining. Thanks for sharing all your musical talents! - Reg
Amazeballs. Wish you guys were playing when I was there. I just saw this today and you already have broken up. Best wishes to all of you as you go your separate ways.
Damn, that was awesome! Vocals we're surprisingly on point! That must be a pretty good Mic, I was amazed how clearly it picked everyone up, especially being outside.
That was absolute.....fucking beautiful. Song has been stuck in my head for a few days for whatever reason and I searched youtube for versions of it to find really beautiful covers of it. I was not disappointed here. This was actually the only cover version I found where the singer did the high notes instead of dropping an octave or two at the end of the chorus. Give this guy a medal, or an oxygen tank. Serious bro, was you lightheaded after that? Goddamn, you got a talent. I want your voice. Seriously, I want it. You can either sell it to me or I'll come take it by force. Just kidding. I'll just come taaaaaaake yoooooooouuu oooooooooon. Taaaaaaaaaake ooooooooooon yooooooooooou. In a day or... twooooooooooooooo. I really shouldn't comment while drunk.
Love this. It reminds me of Punch Brothers' take on the Cars' "Just What I Needed" and "Poor Places" by Wilco. Great bluegrass instrumentation take on pop/rock songs.
