reformation des sex pistols en 2007 à l'occasion du 30 ième anniversaire de la sortie de leur album "never mind the bollocks"...anarchy in the UK lors du concert de brixton academy à londres le 10.11.2007
To the younger generations...growing older is inevitable, growing old is optional...if this still resonates the same to you in your 40's, as it did when you were a teen, then you've won
kevin adams 41 here. Loved these guys since I was thirteen. Johnny Rotten is one of the coolest guys ever. If you haven't seen his interview with Pierce Morgan go check it out. It's really great.
I loved the Pistols and played them non stop much to the disappointment of my parents. My dad has now passed away but my mum always says "you loved the Pistols didn't you"
“The Sex Pistols are not punk. If they are it's a pathetic and impotent breed that disgraces the name of the genre. The Sex Pistols are infamous for their violent and debauched (understatement right there) antics. They seemed like rebels, railing against the monarchy and yelling things like "I am an anti-Christ/I am an anarachist!" But they weren't rebels. Did The Sex Pistols ever try and make any kind of real protest against the government? Did they ever really have it in their interests to challenge a corrupt system and bring about some Che Guevara revolution? No. They didn't. Their "rebellion" was nothing more than getting obliterated on drugs and drink, smashing things up and being, without a shadow of a doubt, IDIOTS. They weren't rebels. They didn't try to change things. They didn't try to grow up. They didn't try to use their sudden fame and their brief career to make any kind of real lasting difference. They just did things in the name of "anarchy". You've got to be kidding yourself if you think anarchy (even if it's brought about by calculating, intelligent terrorists rather than promoted by malicious, spiteful thugs) is either practical or morally good. If that is what "punk" is, I want no part of it, and neither should you. They used punk as a licence to be morons.”
@@inkblack6256 everything you just said is .B O L L O C K S........the punk movement came about as an antidote to the terrible glam rock , pop and general dire state of music in the mid 1970s and as an antidote to the tyrannical vice like grip of the record companies......suddenly anyone could be in a band and make thier own records , make thier own clothes , hundreds of small record labels popped up.....thats why at all of the punk concerts i went to the audience used to spit at the bands as a sign against the hero worship of other boring non punk bands .... You absolutely do not know what you are talking about .
Sid Vicious' Legacy Lives On!!! Go to your local dilapidated buildings, abandoned apartments and rehabs you will find plenty of Sid Viciouses in there.
This song was the first song i ever heard from the Cranberries. Fell in love with this song and i skipped school just too buy this album. Worth the trouble i got in for skipping school.
On the inside these guys are still those crazy rebellious kids. Just look at Johnny. It is as if he is that angry young man all over again and he is loving every moment of it.
Ageless song. I rewatched the video for the millionth time, and all those boys and girls in their 20s/30s who are shouting along with Johnny and the old Pistols fans... it gets me every time.
...SONG OF THE DAY!!! THE SEX PISTOLS - ANARCHY IN THE UK (1977) Desde la descarga de apertura de acordes descendentes de Steve Jones hasta el fantástico sarcasmo vocal de Johnny Rotten, esta canción es una perfecta declaración, una pieza de política punk asombrosamente potente, un estilo de vida, un manifiesto que presagia una nueva era. Y sin duda alguno como bien lo mencionó el gran JOHNNY ROTTEN "YO NO ARROJABA LADRILLOS A LOS ESCAPARATES EN NOMBRE DE LA REBELIÓN SINO PALABRAS QUE CUENTAN EN DONDE MÁS IMPORTAN". TURBOMEGA AMÉN 🙏🏿 🤘🏿MEGAROLOTA🤘🏿
The anger in johnny voice is still amazing, a very talented guy. Also a very talented band, such an icon of the 70s, and still their songs are relevant today, I belive the world needs this anarchy again, the government are too in control again.
1:18 high expectation asian dad: 'Son, go study statics & mechanics of materials analyses in your room now.' son: 'No, I'm going to sex pistols concert." Anarchy in the UK.
