yeh maun thank fook i grew up with the pistols ,you would'nt believe how straight the establishment was in the 70,s music needed the pistols .lydon a man master of meaning!!
retku93...the pistols atitude and feeling for the music was better in 75-78 but now their sound is so much tighter and better,,but i love all my live bootlegs of the original years..raw pure power
So I was. I was five, almost six, the time that they came over to my country. And I was one, almost two, the time PiL came. I wish I could see John on concert at least once, it wouldn't be just amazing, but it would also be hilarious, because I love his comments on stage.
Reminds me of my 1st ever trip to the "never quite united kingdom" in '78. I was 12 and went there there to learn English. What I learned was what punk was. Guy in the neighbor had Pistols and Stiff Little Fingers blasting out of his room all day. :-D What a holiday that was!
@@grigorykolesnyk2985 When you say Sex Pistols, how many people think of Sid and how many people think of Matlock? 😁 Sid and Rotten are the faces of the band. Matlock was boring and that's why he was kicked out of the band.😉
Los Sex Pistols se hicieron famosos con el paso del tiempo, recuerda, Sid solo estuvo en la banda 13 meses si es que... Los Sex's se hicieron famosos por su musica y adivina quien fue el que compuso el 90% de esta... Glen Matlock.
wanna know why this is one of the best bands ever? They made one album. Just on f'in album; thats all. But that is all they ever have to make because it was so symbolic of the times, so transcendentalic of the music then, that it has become entrenched in the annals of 20th century music. And this is their Magnum Opus. ya'll know how to reach me.
heyy! no es un insulto, ya quisiera ser como ese wey!! solo digo que todos siguieron su camino natural, pero Johnny. . . no es lo mismo 30 años después! Sex Pistols rules!
This is so much better than the Pistols sounded in 1977 ... now they can actually play a fucking great song!! No matter whether you are in the UK or elsewhere, the sentiment is the same. Get pissed, Destroy and Dont Let the Bastards Grind You Down.
I agree. They should have also thrown in some Professionals songs and give Steve Jone's center stage. And at that they could have also done Philistines songs too. But yes, Lydon really didn't change what he was doing when the pistols got back together, I guess it just goes to show he was and stayed the same kind of person through his life (hopefully gaining new insight through old age).
wicked and gd to see the other comments - people actually giving them the respect they deserve a lot of other comments i've read on reunion videos keep slaging them off for being middle aged, bugger them
