Thx 😎 especially the whiffed run shoulder is something you should recognize when you play against Luke. You cannot press there. Either block, throw tech, delay throw tech or just take a throw there!

I loved the video, especially the tech/meaty setups at the end! By the way, I never knew until I watched this video that, in the corner, after a jab Perfect Flash Knuckle, you could link Medium Sand Blast and then Heavy Uppercut - I just thought that you could only link Light Sand Blast into Light Uppercut! Also, watching your guide made me realize that I have to start using Suppressor more!

@co81385 surpressor is a lot of fun, but doesnt always work (he can get thrown out of it by accident). I wish they would add the visual effect that surpressor has in SFV, that looked so cool. Yea his corner combos are fun. Perfect knuckle into light knuckle into level 2 😍 but medium sandblast is more reliable because that also works for non perfect knuckle, giving you loads of time to confirm the light or heavy uppercut. After the uppercut, you cab whiff the clp and do HK to hit meaty.

Thx glad you find em helpful!! I dont have guides specifically for modern controls, sorry! I only play on classic, never dove into modern so I dont know which buttons are unavailable for modern players. Luke’s a beast in modern though, because of his super fast level1 super

Def important yup! His sandblast is pretty - on block though so setting up fireball traps isnt as good as Ryu and Guile..the travel speed is very good though!

Yea i can understand that, most of my viewers are between bronze and master. You do need a bit of basic understanding to follow it. I am willing to do a basic guide for new players. However; I want to do one that can be used by every one (all characters). Not for just 1 character because the overall target group (sf6-educational) is already small. Would you be helped if I made a guide where I explain how to learn a character? And the game? Without it being a guide for THAT character? I guess my real question is; Would you watch a REAL beginner guide about the game and how to learn it if it didnt star Luke?

​@@iZonkGaming2021 Yeah, that would help, getting into the general strategy and what to look out for. Like ranges, when to do which anti-air, when to jump, how to best use the meters etc. It also wasn't my best idea to watch a character guide so early. I just watched another guide about the game fundamentals afterwards that helped and got myself comfortable with controls in training today. I'd sure keep an eye out for a guide of yours :) Btw, that shouldn't mean your vid is bad, I just wanted to point out it could maybe draw in beginners a bit more, so they watch your content

​@@EXFrostFor example a default button layout, the controls are very predetermined. it was good, it was just too fast for beginners which this video isn't really addressing. it requires that you're already comfortable with fighting games but beginners aren't. it was more of a "here are the combos and strategy" but barely focusing on the controls, inputs, how to do them and some tips on handling the controls better. as i said, i wasn't far enough for the video, i just tried if it's for me.

@@knampf9779 default button layout? Like what controller? Xbox, PlayStation, etc? Thats just silly to show buttons. LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HK is exactly how it should be because thats universal no matter what and it indicates more than just buttons making things easier to remember and understand just at a glance. But yeah idk if you should be watching character guides if you dont know how to press buttons and perform specials. I think your standpoint is fair enough BUT i dont think thats a flaw with the video at all, youre just the wrong audience

You have to press the jump in button quite late to get the lp-mp-hp to connect. Its a timing thing, yyou’ll get it. Start with jump mk, clp, clp, qcb lp. That combos easier (clp is almost twice as fast as lp) Good luck, dont give up my friend 🙌 fighting games arent easy
