My favourite Shaky song. He was brilliant. And that voice smooth as silk. After Elvis was gone Shaky come and bring us GOOD music again. Thank you 💕 Shaky. Love 😘 you🥰
It’s sad new generation doesn’t know his name . There is no point to compare him with Elvis , he was a man in Rock’n Roll league with a great voice singing beautiful songs .
I went to see him in 1990. His smoke machine set the fire alarm off and we all had to go out into the car park. When we went back inside he came on stage and said it was a good job he wasn't singing Great Balls of Fire!
Back in the day it was not auspicious that Shaky was affiliated with SAW, and yet they came through and made one of his best albums- pure Rockabilly Rock ‘n’ Roll. They didn’t try to make him over. Brilliant. It took me years to get a vinyl copy and I love it. 💕😀
WOW WOW WOW. I STILL ADORE HIM. LOVE HIS VOICE AND DEFINITELY LOVE HIS MOVES. I STILL FEEL HIS GORGEOUS LIPS AGAINST MY CHEEK. AFTER ALL THIS TIME YOU ARE ONE OF THE BEST THAT HAS GIVEN SO MANY FANS EVERYTHING AND MORE. THANKS FOREVER.
I used to think my dad was Shakey when I was a wee boy. Same hair..... Teddy Boy .... now im 40 and still love this and so do my 5 children and they're from 1 year old to 11... keep the oldies going 👍
Everybody who isn't a fan or SHAKIN Stevens should be ashamed of yourselves everybody who is I am with you he is my kind of musician voice dance routine. Love all his music and songs since I was about 13yrs old that is 40 years ago. My very best song has to go to love Attack
I thought it sounded of a similar vein to "The Best Christmas Of Them All" (which I love) and he's got the "Hip, Hip, Banana" duo who appeared with him.
What a great singer.. 😊👍 One of the best songs! coz the voice, style, looks, words and beats are just fantastic...⭐️ 😍⭐️😍 One and only Shakin Steven's 💕🌟 💕⭐️ Let's get rocking 🤩
Remember how happy i was to see Shaky back on his Rock n Roll Roots after some pop and soul songs he did in 87/88 !He was always the best when he did Rock n Roll!Great musicians too here,Howard Tibble,Gavin Povey and the great Micky Gee on guitar.Miss this guy :-/ on guitar..R.i.P.
Back in the 80's when I was a teenager. Shaking Stevens was my hero. I have seen him live about 3 or 4 times now. I use to dress just like him in denim jeans and a denim jacket. My old brother once had a drink with shaky when he was with the sunsets. That's was when he was an unknown singer. Before he became famous in the 80's. My brother and shaky spoke about Elvis. My older sister has met him once in the Adam and eve pub.
FANTASTIC song and singer !! I've never heard it before - wish I'd have heard it first time round, I'd would have included it in my repertoire, - still ,I'll do it at Karaoke- I bet it goes down a bomb! How on earth does Shaky get up on those points?? !! Brilliant all round performance! Cheers, Tony.
The sexiest man of life - I remember briefly from the 80s to 2000 what is the UK doing there? Whatever the reason: Shaky is completely different from his family's appearance, a chicken breast, but still among the top ten for me. It's a pity that Scotland and we in Germany are already at home - final - Spain / Portugal. Bless our King - our king also
Only thing wrong with shaky is there is no sir before his name!!!!!!! Brilliant artist performer and a bloody nice bloke a legend to the music industry 😀😀😀😀
i totally agree with you, shaky does deserve the sir title,he was the biggest selling artist of the 1980s and he was going long before that so its about time he was recognised for his contribution to the music world.
I am a 90's lass... but my dad used to listen to this dude and he yaks about him so I had too goole... HIS music is me.... ggggggrrrrr 90's music!!! (wrong era) !!
He released a new album called "Echoes of Our Times" in September, it reached number 22 in the album chart and is bloody brilliant. It _is_ however quite different from his 80s stuff (bluesy and Americana).
