….he’s not a combat veteran. His running joke is that he has a National Service Defense medal, which you get for being in the military for a time of war. So he says if he wanted to, he could say he’s a war veteran. You could debate that spending on year at a military college shouldn’t count, but technically it does. COMBAT veterans are different. War vets are in during a time of war, combat vets have actually seen action, for which you receive the Combat Action Ribbon. Fun fact: rob riggle is a combat vet.
My wife and I are host parents for two autistic adult siblings and I don’t think this is making fun at all. You guys put it perfectly they streamlined our base emotions and reactions and have forgotten about social status. It’s very pure and holy shit is it hilarious.
My husband and I love watching the show. I was a case manager at a non profit that helps employ and teach autistic adults how to keep and hold jobs. I love how honest they are, like they truly cannot tell a lie and I adore it. I had one client who would spend days drawing intricate pictures for my (at the time 5 year old) son. I miss my clients so much. Unfortunately I now work from home for multiple rehab centers as a claims rep.
The best scene in the entire show is the asian guy, he brings the camera crew into his room to show him bis laptop and when he opens it, for a brief second you can see an anime chick with massive tities and you can see the panic on his face 😂

Dude, my wife and I love this show. I was trying to find a clip of where Ronan and Kellie go on a date and he takes her do a video game driving simulator because he loves race cars. I can't find the clip online but if you guys could PLEASE show that clip and comment...it is my absolute favorite episode (gummy worms is #2). My wife and I were in tears at the look on Ronan's face whlie Kellie is crashing into every obstacle possible and he keeps offering her encouragement. At one point she's going like 10 mph and he's like "You know, you can go a little faster". Damn that scene is AMAZING and everyone needs to see it. You can spot the point where Ronan's like "yeah, I'm not ever letting her drive me anywhere".
Tanner is our favorite. Dude is just 100% on go and loves everyone. Then when they cut to him and his roommates and you realize he’s a bro. Total bro guy. Tanner is the alpha of their pack and he’s riding a bike into town.
